Discuss Tyler Perry's The Haves and the Have Nots

Leave Jim in the finale, while we get another dose of the gross and revolting Jim and Candace.

All I can say is YUCK!

It's so frustrating TP does nothing with the pair that has actually chemistry together, while we have to sit through sex scenes with these pairings that have none.

God, no. I was sick of Candace after season 1 and only started to tolerate Jim once he was out of her orbit and plotting to take her down. I fear if they sleep together again she'll end up pregnant for real this time and we'll be saddled with a who's the daddy story line. As far as Kat and Jim, I don't mind a brief separation as long as it's a case of absence making the heart grow fonder but that's highly unlikely if he's in Candace's orbit again.

I feel like TP is trying to revitalize the tired Candace by taking her back to her roots. She's a call girl again and now Jim's sniffing around her. Sorry, time to move on. No one wants to see that, again.

This show has become nothing more than a conning hooker show. Last nights episode was terrible and so disappointing.

To think that Candice could get a future president to sleep with her hours after meeting him is unrealistic. Where is secret service/security for a person running for President?!?!

Erica is also nothing more than a hooker. David is stupid. Why do all the young hookers get to have all the fun with the men?!?!?!

One of the most disappointing parts of last night to me was all the s3x with the hookers with way too much Candice as usual. Also a little too much of Jeffery too, all he did was sit and sulk on the bed like a little boy. Even more disappointing was the fact that Jim, a wealthy married politician/judge is going to stoop so low to wear a wire and try to seduce Candice for another romp just to get her to admit to blackmailing him. That is truly a really dumb storyline when we all know he is weak to her and will end up sleeping with her again. That is disappointing all in itself but thats still not the MOST disappointing part about this show and horrible episode...

The MOST DISAPPOINTING part of this show is Jim and Katheryn and the way TP has written their marriage and family. I agree with all of the above. They are probably the only couple that has true potential and chemestry and TP has written them both so horribly that there may be no turning back. If Katheryn leaves Jim and leaves HER house for him to have whores in it I may have to stop watching. She is an heiress and she should be in her home and he should be the one to leave and beg her to come back. Jim is such a douche that like Candice he has become hard to watch or even like. Neither Jim nor Candice have redeeming qualities and neither character has grown, just stayed more of the same, just nasty...

TP should be exploring Jim and Katheryn's relationship to see if it can be repaired and have them working together for Wyatt- their only LIVING child that we know of.

Im a loyal fan since day 1 but Im highly disappointed....

I have to admit it's felt like after the premiere which was great, the show has been slowly going downhill and I'm less and less anxious to see it each week.

Wyatt and Benny have been atrocious all season.

It's Candace who lost him his business and home, yet he's acting like it's all Hanna's fault [because she was right about Candace] while he still has his lips glued to her backside. He's been a cross between a neanderthal and a mentally challenged moron all season.

Wyatt's biggest problem is TP can't get the bug out of his butt of promoting this toxic Wyatt/Jeffrey relationship. Wyatt isn't gay, IMO. And after being molested and raped by men I think it's totally unbelievable if he tries to force this into the relationship he seems to be stuck on. Wyatt's story is all about Jeffrey when it should be about him and his parents. That's the more interesting relationship he continues to ignore. Why not just kill Wyatt off if you're not keeping him around because his Jim and Kathryn's last surviving child. But it appears Wyatt only survived because he's Jeffrey's poopy-bear.

Jeffrey isn't much better. I've actually come to like Justin much better than I do Jeffrey, when initially Justin made my skin crawl and made me cringe, but the character has changed and evolved through his relationship with Jeffrey. He's put his career on the line to help Jeffrey even after that foul hag Candace pulled her crap on him. And Jeffrey turns around and pulls a gun on him and acts like he's going to shoot him because he was treating his poopy-bear the way he deserves to be treated. Then he turned around and pulled a Wyatt and acted like Justin was the one who victimized him. Next he's foul to Melissa whose trying to be nice to him and he can't have any empathy for her because she's doing this to save her sick father. Melissa may be the only child on this show that loves her parents enough to sacrifice herself for them. He was also crappy to Landon, too. So why should I have any kind of sympathy or empathy for him.

Maybe I also like Justin better because the actor is better than the actors playing Candace, Benny and Jeffrey. He may have gotten the job because he's Tika Sumpter's baby daddy, but he's also a good actor.

Candace has never interested me as a character. Maybe if this character ever developed any character that could change. She acts like she loves Q when she's with him, but to stick it to Hanna she was more than happy to give Q away to strangers who could have abused him for all she knew or cared. She's dumb and never learns and keeps doing the same thing over and over again. She's a bully and a coward. For me, she's all dead air space whenever I have to endure her over-long scenes. I really think this Charack character was brought on for her because Tika played in a movie where she was dating Obama. Otherwise, Cha-rack is an absolutely unneeded character. They could have just tried to develop her and Oscar/Brandon, although after he just walked away when Quincy was beating on her there isn't much there to develop. But there's that dirty word again. Tyler Perry doesn't seem to like to do character or relationship development.

Then we have Erica the Candace clone. Like we need two of them on the show. I don't care about her bagging David. Maggie and David were more interesting because their relationship was real and she wasn't going after him to fleece him for her girl or whatever she's really up to which I don't care about, either. Although near the end Maggie had become such a pathetic love leech [much like they turned DA Jen into for David] I wasn't sorry she got killed.

For me, the strongest characters on the show are: Veronica, Hanna, Kathryn, and Jim. [David I don't find a strong character or interesting. They've turned too many women into love leeches for him, he was a love sap for Veronica for way too long and he acts like he's more in love with Jim than any other woman I've seen him involved with.]

Most of these characters and relationships are in need of growth, but that doesn't seem to be something Tyler Perry is interested in doing.

For me the strongest relationships are : Jim and Kathryn and Hanna and Kathryn. Candace and Hanna could be strong if there would be some development in it instead of the same old, same old. Candace and Jeffrey had a good relationship until that one scene where they sandbagged it for Jeffy's poopy-bear Wyatt. It's the main reason I'm so opposed to Jeffrey finally getting together with his poopy-bear Wyatt. There's just too many relationships Jeffrey's had that Jeffy's ruined for his poopy-bear. I think if they bring on a new character it should be a new strong man for Veronica who could handle this she-beast. I feel bad that Veronica is trying to get with Benny Gump next week. Girl can do so much better than that.
