And since the Phoenix Priestess movie was released between E03 and E04, the prologue should bump up E04 and its succeeding episodes. By definition, it's an OVA.

This is not an OVA, as it was originally theatrically released. It is listed here in the movies part of our database.

When and where was it released theatrically? If you read the article I linked, it’s a DVD-exclusive. If they use DVDs at cinemas, then you’re right. Otherwise, it is an OVA. Even iMDb classifies it as the 5th OVA.

Sorry, I made a mistake in my answer, confusing the prologue with the main movie.
But, it should still be listed in the movies part of our database, as this is an OVA related to the movie, and not directly to the series. Furthermore, it was released as an extra on the DVD of the movie.
