I agree with your favorites. I was sad that Paris and Doyle split up in the new series. I figured they would have made it.

I liked Luke and Lorelai separately, however together it was funny. It was like they didn't know how to write them together. Like how they went to vacation with Rory and Logan when Logan's dad came barging in. Luke kept complaining the entire time and I felt like it was something he would not have done in the earlier seasons. I liked their chemistry together but thought it could have been written better when they were together.
