I really felt it this year for the "Endiversary" of my all-time favorite #1 show! I had occasion to ask Carolyn Culliton if she liked being symbolically represented for all time as Carolyn the gorilla, with her mate Richard & her handler Sam Ratcliff in what I call the single most hated finale of ... forever?! She said she "effin hated it" & that it was something Sam Ratcliffe & Gary Tomlin thought up for the 2-day finale but that Gary's godfather to one of her children & she loved Sam, so, ... She & Richard have retired from writing DAYS this spring.
