As much as I don't care for the sexual comments made by York... I have to go with him. He was the original. He created this image of Darrin. Those were some big shoes to fill for Sargent. I don't particularly care for Sargent, I kept watching for Elizabeth. After York left the love and passion was gone, you can see it in the way he kisses her. Also they went into recycling episodes. Now I'm not hating on Sargent he went into a show that was already 5 seasons deep so he did the best he could with what he could. He played Darrin differently as not to copy how York played Darrin.

I agree, while still enjoyable it just wasn't quite the same without Dick York. Just as when the original Gladys Kravitz left the show.

There are Dick Sargent episodes that I genuinely like. But he had some big shoes to fill. There was nothing like Dick York's Darrin. The show changed for the worse after Dick York left...it isn't Dick Sargent's fault...the writing just wasn't the same. But like I said, there are some episodes in the last 3 years that I really enjoy.

Definitely Dick York. He was much better at the physical comedy and Sargent was rather bland.
