I was watching an episode of Perry Mason on Paramount+ . I left the room briefly to get a coke from the fridge. Rather than hit pause, I let the episode run to listen to the dialog. What did I hear? I thought I heard Peter Graves' voice! I rushed back, thinking Paramount had somehow flipped back to Mission: Impossible. Also on my "saved" list. It was still Perry Mason. William Hopper was speaking as private detective Paul Drake. Has anyone ever noticed how similar their voices are? Wow! If you're into fan fiction, that would make a great story: Jim Phelps meets Paul Drake. Think of the possibilities!! They WERE kind of contemporaries!

@lima-2 : With Paul Drake probably being older than Jim Phelps, it would be nice to have a fan fiction story of Drake being a sort of mentor to Jim Phelps. BTW, this is the username formerly known as Phelps Fan.
