Moving on with my smartass review 😉, when we last saw our bad guy Whit Channing, he was debating whether to turn on a tape playing Classical music or turn on the tv and watch an episode of Bar Rescue (I know that Bar Rescue wasn't on tv during the 1970's, but roll with the punches, okay?) in his apartment. Listening to classical music wins, breaking the heart of Bar Rescue host Jon Taffer.
Barney, Willie, and Casey (And no jokes that her real first name is Lisa, because I'm not having it) are spying on him though an electrical wall socket in the conveniently vacant apartment next door and sees that Whit is turning on the stove to heat up some water, Casey distracts him by calling and saying she's the Captain and aide to the Air Force General (not Brig. General Frank Savage) who Whit killed to get ahold of the top secret info that the European People's Republic needs to have to theorically invade the US and made it look like the General had committed suicide, to inform him about the General's death.
Will the water on Whit's stove heat up quickly? Will Casey be able to distract Whit long enough for Barney to slip into Whit's apartment and hide in the kitchen closet? Will Willie start complaining about having to do things like spying on people through electrical sockets again? These questions (And possibly some other questions I didn't mention) will be answered in the next part of my Invasion recap. Ta-da!
