Yes, fellow Honorary Impossible Missions Force Agents, Maria's Smartass Episode Recaps are back! So without further ado:
Kevin MacCarthy plays Whitmore Channing, a narssisstic traitor (is it me, or did Kevin MacCarthy always seem to play narssisstic traitors?) who comes home after a hard day of betraying his country and plans to spend a nice evening burning classified documents when he gets a phone call. It's from someone at everyone's favorite US enemy the European People's Republic!
The EPR guy asks Whitmore, who shall be called Whit (because I think that "Whitmore" is an incredibly pretentious name) if he dropped off the classified documents where he was supposed to. Whit says yes. EPR guy says okay and hangs up. EPR guy turns to his homie and says that Whit was a great spy, too bad that they now have to kill him (Me: Hooray!). So it's off to the US for them!
Meanwhile, while Jim is out on the first date he's had in 5 years, he gets told that he has a phone call. Jim tells the gorgeous lady he's been guzzling champagne with if she'll wait for him and she says yes (cue me facepalming). Take a wild guess who leaves a mission briefing tape for him (and no it's not President Obama)? This ends part one of the recap. Will Whit find a less pretentious name to use? Will EPR guy change his mind about killing Whit (Oh Personal Diety I hope not!)? Will Jim's date stick around although it appears he's dumped her? These and other burning questions will be answered (or not) in our next episode of Maria's Smartass Episode Recaps!

This episode reminds me of S1E03 "Operation Rogosh (1966)", where the villain is tricked in revealing secret information. In that episode he wakes up in prison convinced that some time has passed and he has succeeeded in his attack on the USA. He is put on trial accused of working for the other side.
Anyone know who played Jim's date?

You're right, there are a lot of similarities between this episode and Operation Rogash. I was also wondering what that actresses name too.
