A syndicate man is about to serve a modest prison term for tax evasion. He gets a call from a crooked D.A. (who looks and acts like Mike Brady with a mustache) who informs him that it was his girlfriend who tipped off the feds. So our syndicate man commits one more murder before going to prison....
Jim and the IMF crew have to figure out a way to prove his committed the murder AND figure out who his boss is (all conventional law enforcement knows is that he is called "The General").
The IMF has a straightforward plan that runs awry forcing the team to improvise.
This seems to happen a lot in the 7th season. While it was nice to see a plan get flawlessly executed time and time again, it does add to the drama to see it almost fall apart, making it necessary for the team to adapt.
A highlight: Barney and Willie are both pretending to be prisoners and Barney gets to beat up Willie so bad he needs to be hospitalized. (Better not let that go to your head, Barney. Willie might want to have a real fight sometime.)
The last line is hilarious. "You idiot!" says the general to the victim of the IMF scam.
Fun stuff.

In that episode he was, Mike Brady or no Mike Brady. Possibly it was because he was playing a bad guy.

We've come a long way from a fight between Cinnamon and Crystal to one between Barney and Willy.

Willie beat up Barney in the first season episode where they're trying to get Fritz Weaver's character to reveal where he left some biological agents that will poision the Los Angeles water system.
