Discuss Mission: Impossible

The Syndicate instigates a hostile takeover of a movie studio. And by "hostile" I mean that they have Will Smith strongarm a producer into signing over his contract to John Vernon and then dropping from a large height onto concrete below.

The IMF needs to get all of John Vernon's business plans away from him so they can be used as evidence against him.

Everyone gets something substantial to do.

Mimi shows her legs to the new producer, a perv who injects skeevy double entendres into his dialog.

Jim zaps him and takes his place.

Barney affects a snobby director's accent and pretends to make a movie.

Willie "trains" John Vernon in martial arts by beating the crap out of him and doing a gun switcheroo on him while he is unconscious.

The plan almost goes wrong from the outset, but the IMF thinks on their feet and puts the plan back on track.

Strong performances by the guest stars, a solid plot with action, humor, and some tension.

All in all, this episode is another winner.

Disc 2 is done.

You are rockin through this. Thanks for all of those updates grinning

And I watched another one this last weekend and forgot to post my thoughts.

Stand by.

Your posts are much more in-depth than mine were this time around. I still have a couple more seasons to watch. I took a break

Great review! Actually, I thought the bad guy's sleazy brother was kind of cute. And I loved when Mimi tried to run over the hit man when he tried to kill Jim because he figured out Jim wasn't the sleazy brother. Fun fact: That gangster was played by Jerry Douglas, who played the State Department official Marv Rogers in London in the fourth season episode Lover's Knot.

@sukhisoo Another great post. relaxed
