Thank you! BTW, did you know that Jack Lord was a WW2 veteran? I read that a ship he was on was sunk by a German submarine, and spent 12 hours holding on to a piece of debris before he was rescued.
I think my wife did state that he was indeed a WWII veteran. She has a job out of state and took her Jack Lord book with her. As I've mentioned, she's a Jack Lord fan in the same way that you are a Robert Lansing fan.
While I do enjoy watching Jack Lord bark out orders to his beleaguered subordinates and get into the faces of smug crime lords, I actually watch the show for the villains.
Five-O takes on everyone from international spies to serial killers, rapists, heisters (is that a word?), con men, drug pushers, pimps, kidnappers, and junkies.
I like watching the villains interact. They can be Wo-Fat's smoothly run like a Swiss watch organization, a Slim Pickens/Andy Griffith dysfunctional family, a group of thugs that can barely tolerate each other, or a lone wolf social misfit.
There are masterminds, bulllies, morally uncertain people people in over their heads, weak links, tough guys, angry people with chips on their shoulders, sneaky guys, charming sociopaths, etc.
The wide array of possible antagonists is astounding.
(While my wife will point to a painting on the wall and declare that it is Jack Lord work or groan that he's comforting yet another widow.)
What I liked was when Hawaii 5-0 made up an actor to look Japanese when he obviously wasn't. And I thought it was interesting how no matter where the guest stars character came from, even if it was their first time in Hawaii, they knew who"5-0" was. And then there's the episode Leopard On The Rock, when EVERY member of the guest cast got arrested.

Could you please explain regarding the "spam" thing?

There were several spam messages here that were peddling products that had nothing to do with Mission: Impossible.
I (and perhaps others) reported them and they are, thankfully, gone.

Heh heh. For about a week there, it must have been just me and spammers posting to this board. I'm glad that real people are back.
