Discuss Mission: Impossible

I just read about an hour ago that David Hedison died. He had a long and varied career in Hollywood. His first big break was when he played the title character in the 1950's horror classic (the original version), The Fly. In the mid-1960's, he played Captain Lee Crane, Commander of the submarine Seaview and wingman to Richard Basehart's Admiral Harriman Nelson for four seasons in Voyage To The Bottom Of The Sea.

But he also holds a place in the hearts of many (including my own) Bond fans for his 2 appearances as Felix Leiter in Live And Let Die, and Licence To Kill.

Rest In Peace, Mr. Hedison. You will be missed.

oh no. sad news for sure. The fly is a big favorite as a kid, just thought it was the greatest. My introduction to the horror genre but it was the science that got me.

Also remeber him in The Lost World, another Irwin Allen lizard fest.

sad news indeed.

I've been watching VTTOTS episodes on YouTube and I am amazed at how much professionalism Mr. Hedison and the rest of the cast showed, especially when they had to keep a straight face when they looked at all of those ridiculous "monsters" every week.
