I'm only about 4 episodes in and so far I like it, but I notice the ending sequences just don't have the same power with the reveals and all.

I liked Encore. I liked how the team was able to make William Shatner think he was back in the 1930's, and I thought it was a nice send off for Doug.

I was kind of partial to The Bride. It was broadcast right after the release of Diamonds Are Forever . I found a lot of similarities between the two. Not to mention, Lynda Day was gorgeous as ever!

I know that there's an season six episode regarding diamonds (Fritz Weaver was in that one) that was decent, but I can't remember the name. I'll have to look it up.

SPOILERS ... maybe?
The scenes I remember best from both, were when Bond and Casey were in their coffins about to be fed into the crematorium furnace. And then Casey's coffin falling down the airplane's ladder and her puppet-double falling out.

The one with Casey and the coffin is The Bride, and the other one is called Underwater.

Desmond Wilson, who played the son in Sanford and Son was one of the bad guys in that episode. Ironically, Greg Morris played one of the bad guys in the Sanford and Son episode where they went to Hawaii (we've discussed this before).

Yeah I think I posted about how it was a bit much for me to accept how seemingly out of nowhere, Barney became a voice expert and a man of disguise which he had never once done in the entire series run up to that point. But a real good episode though
