Another very good Anthony zerbe episode. The guy really was a clueless loser in this one.

@Jayhn1111 spy Part of the reason Anthony Zerbe was so good in this episode is that HE thinks he's James Bond, while it's obvious to everyone else, including his girlfriend, that he's a complete idiot who's in over his head.

Yeah he really was pathetic. But his girlfriend wasn't smart enough to watch her own back unfortunately

@Jayhn1111 wink Yes, she was smart enough to know that he was a loser but not smart enough to realize that he was so convinced that (for once) that he had a good plan he refused to let anyone, including her, get in his way.

@Jaynn1111:😎 Speaking of Anthony Zerbe, he also played loser types in the James Bond movie Licence To Kill and Star Trek Insurrection.

He is very good at that

Zerbe played a great villian.

@Jayhn1111: He played a Nazi SS Officer in a second season episode of Twelve O'Clock High, and the actress who played his girlfriend in The Amateur played a French townswoman in this one.

ohhh I did not know th at. I never watched Twelve o'clock high. I should check that out though

Oh, you should check out Twelve O'Clock High. Especially season one when Robert Lansing was the star of the show. For the next 2 seasons Paul Burke was the star. And fans of the show who have been watching it on YouTube have been complaining about Paul Burke in the comments section for at least the past 5 years.
