As much as we love Peter/Willie I felt he deserved two threads, MK. I don't think this ever actually happened in the series, but it's a scenario I'd wish they'd done. Correct me if I'm wrong. Something goes wrong on the mission and Willie has no choice but to break his cover and use his strength to rescue Cinnamon or one of the other female team members. Being "disavowed by the secretary" would be the last thing on his mind. I can easily see him tossing thugs around like Chewbacca did storm troopers when they were going to freeze Han Solo in "The Empire Strikes Back". It would be such a COOL fight scene , IMHO, to see him wading through various bad guys (with the signature MI theme playing) ripping the door to the room she is being held in off the hinges to get to her; (maybe even taking a bullet or two) then walking out among numerous unconscious thugs with her in his arms. The rest of the team would scramble to complete whatever their goal was. After it's all over, Jim Phelps would, of course, chastise Willie for breaking cover. Cinnamon or whoever he rescued would say some thing like "Jim, I know the rhetoric, but I'm glad he broke cover."

You're right, Willie does deserve two special threads! And as for your dream Willie themed episode, I love it!

There is an episode in season 6 when Willie gets caught and is tortured by the bad guys. The nurse giving him the shots under protest (her father has some obligation to the bad guy doctor). Willie is able to convince her to let him go, overcomes the bad guys, and takes the nurse with them when the team completes the mission and leaves.

I also watched the two part Season 4 episode The Controller this morning, and I loved how in part 2 Willie saved a girl named Katherine who was being one of the subjects of a testing program about the Commies (of course) for mind control. Our wonderful Mr. Armitrage not only saves the girl, but puts the creep who was hassling her into the testing booth instead. Great episode!
