Discuss Mission: Impossible

I hope everybody here is enjoying their Christmas. Being I was home last night I took the opportunity to watch the Lover's Knot episode. I enjoyed it much better than I did last time I watched it. Really good episode, though I don't think the love story part of it was nearly as well done as Nicole, or the episode with Cinnamon falling in love with the hitman.

@Jayhn1111 spy What a coincidence! I just watched Lover's Knot again about 3 days ago! I agree with your thoughts about the episode, but what I liked was when Paris would say something that was sympathetic about Lady Cora and Jim and Barney would look at each other with a "WTF?" expression.

Yeah I liked that too. It's like it was so obvious to them that Paris was just getting too involved and you could see the concern they had that it would jeopardize the mission. Which it may very well could have if he had taken it a step further. but as we saw at the end, he came back for her but he knew she had to be punished.

@Jayhn1111 spy You know, for some reason, everytime I watch this I always think about how good Barney looks wearing the Navy Officers uniform in the brunch scene! :-)

@Jayhn1111:๐Ÿ˜ŽThe actress who played Lady Cora, Jane Merrow, played an almost identical kind of character in an episode of the British Science Fiction tv series UFO called The Responsibility Seat.

Ohh British tv I know nothing about so I wouldn't have seen it. I actually forgot what she looks like lol

@Jayhn1111 :๐Ÿ‘ฝUFO was on for one season (1970).It was shown in the US as well as England. It has cult status and a lot of people (including me) love it. You can find episodes of it on YouTube. Watch one episode and let me know what you think.

ok cool thanks!

@Jayhn1111 :๐Ÿ‘ฝ Well, have you watched UFO yet? Some people say that this series was kind of a prequel of the British SciFi series Space: 1999, which starred Martin Landau and Barbara Bain?

I have not as of yet. I am falling behind on all my shows lately :(

@Jayhn1111 : Well, don't worry about Space:1999. It's really not that good of a show.

Oh then it's probably not going to be on my priority list. grinning Right now I am watching Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Agents of Shield, Cloak & dagger, Star trek DS9, Streets of San Francisco, Mission Impossible ofcourse, and also a big wrestling fan so I"m watching dvd's of those too. It's tough to fit all that in in a week but I try grin
