Just watched this episode and I thought it was very good. The kid did a good job but I had to laugh at the accent. And the end where he is running in the warehouse screaming "Jefe! Jefe!" only for the guy to try and shoot him. Probably one of the most unintentionally funny moments of the season.

Yeah and kind of an obnoxious one at that. Which kind of made his character slightly less than sympathetic. I believe it aired after the first season of the Brady Bunch had already aired. But probably most people didn't notice or care since I don't think the Brady Bunch was a ratings blockbuster at the time.

Was "Mike Brady" in any episodes? I can't recall. I remember seeing him in a couple of other crime dramas as the bad guy.

That's right, I have to remember to look for them when I get up to that episode!

Sticking with the Brady theme, I remember being freaked out when watching one episode that took place in the Brady residence LOL. I forgot what season that was in.

I thought the scene where King Victor running through the warehouse looking for Jefe only to see the guy try to kill him was heartbreaking.

I hope you don't think I'm a coldhearted person LOL. I just thought the final scene was over the top and that in combination with the accent took me out of the moment

I agree about the accent. It's one of those episodes where the only way the team can convince the ruler that their best friend really wants to kill them is by setting up an over the top plan. The fact that this time the ruler is a young child who adores the general and the general is only after his throne is very sad.

I really got a kick watching Paris, Willie, and the female agent of the week pretending to be Roma and flamenco dancers! And poor King Victor having to dress up as a girl was hilarious.

Guess what! I just saw Margarita Cordova, who played guest agent Sorcha on Gitano, on an episode of 87th precinct, which was a crime show that aired in 1961 and starred my honey bunny Robert Lansing.

I haven't watched Gitano for a while, but I've been thinking of it a lot. Kind of silly things, such as: what happened to King Victor's parents? Were they killed by General Arragas? Why wasn't his uncle the Grand Duke the Regent for Victor? Was Arragas going to invade Montero after he killed Victor?
Well, as we all know, one of the best (and most frustrating) things about Bruce Geller and his writers were their commitment to keeping things vague so the audience could use their imagination.
