Just saw it on CNN. RIP

TAPS for Martin Landau: Day is done, gone the sun, From the lake, from the hills, from the sky; All is well, safely rest.

I remember him from Mission Impossible. He had a long life resulting in many accomplishments. I bid you farewell Sir & thank you for your efforts & talent. Uncle Jim (my last name is Phelps) is so proud of you!

I couldn't let this pass without briefly "rejoining the fold" so to speak. His life was acting and acting was his life. Martin Landau worked up until the very end. You will be sorely missed. Rest In Peace.

I just read in The Guardian newspaper about Martin Landau. He was a great actor and terrific member of the IMF team. I watched Cleopatra the other day and listened to his commentary on the film. I'll never forget when he started his accepting (sorry about the spelling) speech when he won the Oscar for Ed Wood. He turned to the orchestra and told them, "Don't play the Mission Impossible music or I'll get very angry."

I'll miss him. In fact, I'm going to start a Martin Landau Mission Impossible Memorial Telethon right now. Rest In Peace, Mr. Landau, you were (and still are) very loved.

I didn't know he was originally chosen to play Spok & turned it down. Now he's even cooler...

ohh I"m sorry

@Jayhn1111 grin I just watched Cleopatra again and I noticed that the only person who had more screen time in the movie than Martin was Elizabeth Taylor.

He was the man

@Jayhn1111 : He definitely was.
