That was the one with Sugar Ray Robinson as guest star, right? Phelps has Robinson's character's dossier in his IMF folder, but then has to go out and talk him into the mission. Reminded me of Memory from season one where Briggs had to recruit Albert Paulsen's alcoholic character on a mission. Good stuff.
That's the one. I think Sugar Ray played the guy that killed people and pushed the guy down the elevator shaft. I'm not much of a boxing fan so I wouldn't recognize too many fighters but I thought I read that in the credits. I did recognize the old Olympic auditorium with the legendary Jimmy Lennon doing the ring announcing. That was pretty cool.
When I first saw this episode, my first thought was, "I didn't know James Conrad was so short".
Triva: Robert Phillips, who played the boxer who Cinnamon snuggles up to, has a bit part in the legendary so bad it's good police action movie Mitchell.
A great two-part episode, but it was weird to see Sugar Ray Robinson play a bad guy. And as always, Barbara Bain's Cinnamon was terrific playing the "boxing groupie."
--------Fasten your seatbelts, it's going to be a bumpy night--------
Since I never really knew Sugar Ray Robinson or saw him much I didn't know it was even him till after I read the credits. That part where he pushed the guy down the elevator shaft was crazy
@Jayhn1111 Yes, it was. I've noticed over the years that some sports stars guest staring on MI are playing bad guys. In season 6, Olympic Decathlon Gold medalist Rafer Johnson played a bad guy. Also, Linda Day George's husband Christopher George was in the same episode.

Pretty decent, thank you. How are you?
Not bad but wasn’t feeling good for some days so I stayed off the boards. What did I miss? I hope you’re enjoying your weekend 👍😀
Hi! My leg's still bugging me, but other than that I'm okay. I haven't been on the boards lately either. I have to watch the 3rd season seven episode so I can do one of my smartass reviews of it.

I’m sorry about your leg ☹️
Why that particular episode? I love your smartass reviews!
Actually I don’t remember ever seeing you being a smartass before
Oh, I've always been a smartass! But I take my Classic Mission Impossible seriously. As for that particular episode, I'm trying to watch them in the order shown. One of the great things about CBS All Access is you get access to the terrific archive of the of past CBS tv series. I'm in heaven. Right now I'm binging on season one of Perry Mason. CBS All Access: Come for season two of Star Trek Discovery (that's the reason I signed up, stay for the complete series of Classic Mission Impossible and Classic Hawaii 5-0!

@Jayhn1111 : another piece of MI trivia: Rafer Johnson also played a DEA Agent in the pre-credits scene of the James Bond movie License To Kill.
