Just watched this episode today on MeTV. It was one of those episodes in which Hamilton Burger was on "hiatus" from the show. The prosecutor was Deputy District Attorney Claude Drumm. I wonder if he is any relation to Lieutenant Steve Drumm from season 9?

I don't think so, coincidence (?).
There were many substitute deputy D.A.'s, but no one could compare to the one and only Hamilton Burger.

Remember the episode when Burger broke his leg and had a huge cast and had to hobble around the courtroom on crutches?

Definitely! I wonder if something happened to William Tallman in real life? Never read or heard anything on that.

William Talman was missing in a lot of the fourth and fifth seasons, and they never really explained why. Maybe he was out on sick leave.
