I missed the episode in the 90’s where they were killed off. In this season’s episode it was hinted at that they were killed by the Marberg virus, which was a nice tie in to Millennium, Chris Carter’s spin off series. I was wondering if they changed cannon from the original series. I also found it weird that they were buried in Arlington, I thought that was reserved for Military veterans, Astronauts and Prominent politicians. Mulder must have pulled some strings to get them buried there.
