One time more Chris Carter showed that he has no clue for his overarching story. He makes it up as it goes.

The cliffhanger from season 10 really had me on the hook and I guess many fans too... but then this - a total cop out and a boring soap opera "cliffhanger" (not mulder's child).

They should have just wrapped it up - Scully has the cure - People know Aliens exist or the governments would have covered it and the world would go on. There was no need for such a giant cop out.

I was very disappointed. When last we saw Mulder, he was dying ?!!! I guess he went to the hospital where Scully said was a cure, and got cured. This episode was a silly longggggg car chase, and needless narration. GA looked as though she was phoning it in. She said this is her last time as Scully. I agree. Her heart doesn't seem to be in it.

Agreed. Hopefully the season recovers in the upcoming episodes. I have a lot of expectations since it is most probably the final X-Files season as Gillian Anderson has already announced she's quitting the show. Fingers crossed.

To be fair, I think the last two episodes sort of got the ball rolling again but it's still incredibly disappointing. More 7/10 than 8/10.
