I think it was like six months later when Rumpel stopped the ogres war. I would place this after Rumpel became the dark one, but before he killed the cart guy and the mute maid. It was only six months after Rumpel became the dark one that Bae took the bean and fell through the portal.

Yeah, I also was confused about the timeline. It seems like the writers gave up on continuity. It's a shame. I loved their foreshadowing, hints and clues used in seasons 1-3 and the twists/turns that made this show special amongst every other fairy tale adaptation.
