I definitely agree with that. I am not a fan of Emma and Hook being in scenes either, but after that is Charming and Hook. Though, as i said, i think their relationship has become overblown by the fandom. I don't think it really exists honestly. Or what it consists of is like five scenes of little substance. Which Emma and Hook has little substance either, they pretty much just find each other attractive and have nothing in common.
Oh, I don't think Hook has any substance nor ever has. He's Emma's cheerleader/ love interest, nothing more. The writers only started this 'Captain Charming' thing to ingratiate Hook more into the Charming family. It's just at least in the Hook-David scenes, there's enough chemistry and rapport to keep me engaged. I want to hurl anytime a Captain Swan scene comes on.
I am not a fan of Hook and Charming being in scenes together. Though, i think their friendship is overblown in the fandom. Meaning, i don't think they are actually friends. This episode with a focus on Charming with a side of Hook and no Snow does not sound good to me.
I'll take Hook and Charming over Hook and Emma's cringey, boring romance any day. At least these guys' begrudging respect feels more natural than this forced as hell Captain Swan nonsense.
Excuse me captain swan is not forced and thier romance is not cringy a good %age of the fandom wants to see hook and emma get married. How can they be forced if thier relationship was build up sinse season 3???
I used to like Hook/Swan. But it has become weak these days, lost it's Magic. I LOVE OUaT!! But it's not the same show that grabbed me in Season 1. But that's kinda my pet peeve with most TV series. I'm a fan tho!!!!! I guess I don't get my way, lol. For me, this is Fairytale, Magic. I know the writers love to mix things up with modern, and evolve the characters, but why move away from the initial intent? Thanks for the Preview๐
