Diskuter Countdown

Has anybody noticed how "woke" this once good series has become ? Every time we have a word like "Dunce" -"Bigot" etc Colin has to say "Terrible word" or some such expression of disapproval. Today we had letters that could have made the word "Widget" - "Fidget" or "Midget". Guess which one they didn't notice? It is a show focussing on words - you can't ignore them as a virtue signalling device. This is Britain - we are a democracy with free speech. A definition does not constitute hate speech, Shame on you Countdown.

I haven't watched it since Anne Robinson left. She was against all this 'woke' culture taking over.

Colin Murray doesn't seem to mind working with a team who 'censor' words and phrases on the show.

Money conquers all - even conscience.

You live in a free country (UK) & I'm pretty sure your TV came with a remote, how about you use it & watch something that won't offend you?

A free country? Where truth is called "hate speech". Where the media churns out endless lies about our demographics and gets away with it. Britain is no longer a democracy. I watch Asian shows mostly.
