I think we should keep both, the new entry and the season until the new episodes are released (or there's more concrete info) because to be honest the info is a bit confusing. Some websites call it a new season and others call it a new series. Also, the official CN UK teaser calls it Gumball Season 7 (official The Amazing World of Gumball YT channel calls it New Season)... In the official press release for CN US they say the show will be produced by Hanna-Barbera Studios Europe (UK) and usually new seasons of TV shows are called there as new series, so for me this is very confusing...

What do you think? And also, let's wait for the opinions of other mods...

I came across this topic because I got confused with the new show and a new season here.

Before the news this year, it was always mentioned as a sequel series, but now they mention "new season" or "season 7", so there's no single answer. Maybe we can figure it out when it releases on the streaming and can find out how they handle it. But with a new name and everything, for now, I would be more inclined to treat it as a new show.

Sorry, I've forgot to answer before. I don't mind it, we can wait, probably it will be for the best.
