I would like to discuss the numbering of the mainteined seasons. Season 1 "NBC Summer Re-Runs" is not the first season that was aired. Airing started on CBS at Oct ober 2, 1950. The CBS broadcasts should be considered the first season. The NBC Summer Re-Runs strictly speaking are no season at all. If I understand the TMDB policy correctly, only the first airing counts. The Re-Runs are condensed versions of story arcs consisting of 6 to 12 episodes that have been aired on ABC before, starting on January 1st, 1951. Following the TMDB policy, the Re-Runs should be marked as specials (Season 0). The ABC broadcasts ran until September 26, 1952, making a long Season 2. The DuMont Network aired Season 3, and the 4th and final season was aired by NBC.
