Discuss TRON: Uprising

There seems to be some confusion if "Beck's Beginning" should be a separate special or the 1st episode of the 1st season. For example, http://epguides.com/tronuprising/ is of the latter opinion, making the episode numbering different from what is used here. Is there a consensus?

I've just got to this show and I have no idea why Becks Beginning isnt season 1 episode 1. Making it a special seems ridiculous!

IMDb lists it as episode one:

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1812523/episodes/?season=1

The Wikipedia page also lists it as the first:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tron:_Uprising#Episodes

How does Disney list it?

I'd think that having IMDB, Wikipedia and Epguides differ about the episode numbering would be sufficient to change it here, so how would we go about this?

Have you taken a look at the TV guidelines? Episodes should be listed how they were originally released on the original network. So finding the TRON: Uprising Disney page from 2012 and going through the archives see if they had a clear episode listing would be the first step.

Have you reported it on the 'support page'?

Or clicked the 'report issue' link on the main page (scroll down, it's just below the 'edit page' button on the right)?

banana_girl, I couldn't find anything through google about how it's listed by Disney but I didn't really spend a lot of time searching, so?

From the above source, I think the relevant parts are these quite short paragraphs:

Specials

Special TV episodes, single-episode OVAs, recap episodes (unless they are numerated as regular episodes), bonus episodes bundled with the DVD release, and any episodes that didn't air during the initial Japanese TV broadcast belong in the Specials.

[…]

Episode Number

The first episode of a season is always "1" not "0". Episodes officially released as "Episode 0" are added in the Specials. This is also true for episodes released as "Episode 0.5" as well as any other odd-numbered or unnumbered episodes.

(The "Japanese TV broadcast" above seems to betray the origin of this site as an anime listing site smirk_cat )

Question: if I could find such a page with the listing (and of course with the ahistorical view of large companies like Disney, there is very little chance of this happening), what would the criteria be to know if it were the 1st episode of the series? The above quotations really don't clarify things for me — and I doubt Disney would have explicitly called this "episode 0".

( Some other sites listing "Beck's Beginning" as episode 1 are Disney Wiki and Disney Fanon Wiki )
