I didn't want to answer until tonight's episode aired.

My first question was "will the show ever catch up to what we know from social media to have occurred? Why is the show so behind?"

He told me that the next episode may answer some of that question (which tonight's did), but he also said the biggest problem the production crew has had is that the core material from 2022 was still being self filmed by the Browns. He said it was hard for the editors to come up with a season's worth of material of what the Browns sent them. He did say that the couch interviews were all filmed this last summer. So part of what we are seeing is from 2022, but the personal interviews are all from 2023. He said he hasn't seen the final edits for this season, but he is hoping that it ends closer to real time, e.g. 2023.

My second question was "how long do you see the show lasting?"

He said he has no idea. He has still been filming up until August, but there has not been any word from TLC to the production company of whether or not they will be picked up for future seasons. He said at this point they are filming knowing that it may just be for reunion specials. He said there is not any spin offs being planned at this point.

I would have loved to ask more, but I promised him I would only ask two questions. He actually told me a lot as he circled around the two questions.

I'm surprised he revealed anything as I'm sure he's under a non-disclosure contract/agreement or whatever.

That's interesting. I think it's a real good point that what they are filming now may be only for reunion specials. They can only have so much of Kody and Robyn trashing Christine and Janelle and showing slide shows of old family photos. They have already done that to death with this season.

All I hope is that this reunion has everyone in one room duking it out.
