Discuss Sister Wives

Season 17 Episode 16 Tell All Part Two

As the sit downs continue, The Browns reveal difficulties that go back decades, including a short time where Janelle left the family; The family discusses Kody's meltdown, and Robyn shares anger over the lack of support from her sister wives.

Unless I missed it they haven't released many clips this time around on this episode. I did see one where Kody refers to his kids with Christine and Janelle as "Christine's kids" and Janelle's kids".

I'll be here tonight. Hope y'all are.

Suki may very well be a seasoned journalist but she sucks at this. Has she even watched the show? I think it's pretty clear that there aren't going to be any real tough questions because they don't want to answer them.

What was the point of showing how they had great times? They did actually made a decent point about how the kids have grown and how their personalities have come out.

I knew damn well Kody wasn't going to answer the who he trusted question. We all know the answer already.

And it looks like I'm here alone............really about to give up on this site. There's more people on reddit.

Sorry I didn't come on last night, I was exhausted by the time the show was over and just went to bed.

Suki is the very worst interviewer that I have ever seen. She had never heard that Janelle left the family for awhile? Everyone who read their book knew that. If she is going to interview these people at least do your homework.

She asked two tough questions and Kody got away with saying I am not going to respond to that. I guess after a season of the producers making him look like an asshat somebody gave him a reprieve with the Tell All. I guess there has to be something left unanswered so they have something to cover for a 18th season.

The only thing that I liked was that Christine has the hots for Shemar Moore. Somebody on Reddit suggested that we should chip in for a Cameo from Shemar to Christine. As racist as Kody is, I'll bet that went over really well. I'm sure that comment also sent her grandfather, Rulon Allred, to rolling in his grave. Rulon was a total racist and publicly stated that when the LDS Church gave black people the priesthood that they were not inspired by God.

Well next week we get to see Kody refuse to say who is his favorite wife and that he is separated from Janelle. According to my math that means he only has one wife left.

I honestly do not think Suki has watched the show at all and a lot of people think the same.

Everyone already knows who Kody's favorite wife is. People have said it practically from day one.

I think the cameraman did a good job on Robyn getting that close up when she was supposedly crying. There were no tears at all and you could clearly tell that on that close up.

We already know they are filming for next season. I wonder how long we're going to have to wait to see it. Of course, I will watch but if the focus seems to be only on Kody and Robyn I'll most likely tune out. I kinda believe Meri, Christine and Janelle are still under contract too so it will be interesting to see what they do with them. I know this past week it was said Christine was in Flagstaff for the last time and that she'd been going back and forth there every other week for the show.

Last week Christine posted a video of the "set" TLC had set up in her basement in Salt Lake. It looks like all of her parts will be filmed in her basement.

Kody's entire thing that Christine has to make him look bad because no man would ever want a woman who threw away a relationship with a good man. The TV got hit with a pillow over that line.

Hell the three wives have been warning other women what a bad guy he is so that they don't get suckered by the Kody/Robyn team.

That's exactly what this episode was. Kody and Robyn intentionally trying to make Christine look bad. Robyn went as far as trying to make all three look bad.

Watching the segment, I was surprised that Christine and Jenelle got close when they were in Flagstaff. I thought for sure they were closer before that.

That was a golden moment. I mean at this point, Robyn should be a pro at producing tears.

The Janelle/Christine relationship seems to vary in the telling quite a bit. They have talked about being close when their children were young, now not until they moved to Flagstaff. Christine and Meri's relationship puzzles me a little also. Did Janelle say they had a house and she had a house in Utah? At different times they talk about not getting along at all. If I had to glean a story out of it, I'd say that the other two, who both have stronger personalities than Janelle, have both been problematic for her from time to time. Janelle never seemed to like Robyn much either. She alluded to "problems" last week and made a vague comment about thinking that Robyn is fake (I think we all agree with her on that one).

Hearing Kody talking more about his history with Meri was pretty interesting. Basically said they haven't gotten along since their honeymoon period. At differnet times all the wives have had issues with her also. Except Robyn, who likes to play everyone's friend.

I wonder if they are going to try to rehabilites Kody's image next season becasue it has taken a beating on this one.

I don't think there is any rehabilitating Kody after this season. Most people watching can not stand him or Robyn. It's everyone's thought that he is seeking other wives. It's in his contract that he has to be in a polygamist relationship for there to be a show. You know Kody and Robyn don't want the show going away. Also they are filming season 18 already. There's also crazy and disgusting rumors that Robyn's older daughters are being groomed to be Kody's wives.

I know that Intouch and a couple of other tabloids are reporting that an "inside source" have said that he is looking for a new wife; however, I sincerely doubt it. In the past their inside source has been Katie Joy, whose source is Kristyn Decker. Neither one knows what they are talking about.

Kody just doesn't have a happy hunting ground for wife shopping. He has no affiliation with the AUB or even any unaffiliated polygamists. The only polygamist he hangs out with is Nathan Diltz (who is his partner in the gun business). Nathan is married to one of Meri's sisters. Most of the polygamists want nothing to do with Kody. I guess he could always join the cast of "Seeking Sister Wife" to keep the TLC paycheck coming. But the biggest rumor that I am hearing is that TLC is looking at a spinoff featuring the wives that have moved on. I don't think TLC has any investment in rehabilitating Kody, or for doing much with him in the future. But only time will tell.

I definitely don't see him taking his adopted daughters as wives. Not even Kody is that creepy.

TLC seems to be retooling its line-up. While the Browns are hot, it is the wives that are the most interesting to the viewers.

DId you miss the episode where Kody was googley eyed and complaining about not seeing Aurora?

I see your point DD but Kody could be playing the fans. Kody has definitely made remarks that would make you think he's not interested in polygamy anymore. On the other hand, Kody and Robyn have been proven liars. They will do anything to keep the show going. I don't think people are interested in seeing Kody and Robyn beyond season 18. They are more interested in seeing Christine and Janelle.

Oh I remember that, as well as the weird scene a few seasons back when he carries her to her bedroom when she has a panic attack. I think he just loves the fact that Aurora needs him, unless all of the OG girls that only really needed their mothers. His relationship with Robyn's kids has always been weird, but I don't see him jumping on the wagon of marrying one or both of the girls. In the first place that would end up being an immediate pink slip from TLC. They would never dare approach the incest angle of that kind of marriage. TLC is under the OWN wing of Discovery Networks; which means Oprah is in charge. That would never fly with her.

Besides Christine and Janelle, a certain group of people are interesting in the future of Meri; ONLY, if she really is moving on and leaving Kody behind. It is fairly unanimous that everyone is through with Kody and Robyn. TLC knows that. I figure that they will be history after season 18.

Has another season been confirmed? is another being filmed? I don't keeep up with this stuff.

Johnnie Black Yes Season 18 is already filming. Christine was traveling every other week to Flagstaff from Utah for filming and she recently posted she spent her last day in Flagstaff. She has her basement at her house in Utah set up for the show. What we'll see on Season 18 is anyones guess now that Christine has moved on and Kody and Janelle have labeled themselves as separated and it's been said Meri is officially done with Kody but who really knows on her.
