Discuss Downton Abbey

Item: Downton Abbey

Language: en-US

Type of Problem: Incorrect_content

Extra Details: Putting the Christmas specials in a separate season makes no sense. I have read the response to the other instances of this issue being reported, referring to an ITV page from 2011 when there still was only one season. That page is from when there only was one season to start with, quite possibly preceding thinking much about seasons at all. Furthermore, I have searched the ITV site and found the following:

Apart from the age of the page that was given as justification for the current grouping and it preceding multiple seasons to begin with, ITV actually does seem to think of these specials to be part of the seasons. So could the specials please be put as part of the seasons? Just like common sense dictates (since later episodes build on the story in the specials) and like IMDb and Wikipedia do, and possibly everyone else.

Additionally, just noticed that the Blu-Ray release of season 6 comes with "a sneak peek of the series 6 special episode".

Hello?

The TV guidelines (and previous reports) are quite clear: we have to follow the original release.
