I tried editing them but the changes dont seem to be sticking allowing me to correct them.

This is a data base bug that occurs for tv episode entries that were created around the years 2013/2014; it happened before for other shows and it was reported before, for example here:

I found a way around to solve it, but it's a bit risky. So, if you have time to check that everything's alright now -> that would be great. Also, 2 things that confused me:

1.) TVDb switched episodes 5&6 as well as 7&8 of season 4 in comparison to IMDb and Wikipedia -> I don't know why?!? And now the TVDb ID refers to the episode with the correct number, but not with the correct title on TVDb. I'm not sure what to do here, to be honest?!?

2.) TVDb lists the name of episode 4.18 as Dinner with the Tropes - but IMDb and Wikipedia name the episode Dinner with Tropes (without "the"). I'm not sure what's correct?!? Do you know the correct title?

Well, I fixed some mismatching data. This episode still has an incorrect TVDB ID though.
