As indicated in this previous content report, this series has only 11 episodes. The first and the last are double length episodes.

Apologies, I've never looked at comments on here before. But I must ask, are double episodes not in fact two episodes combined? With all the previous comments I'm going to assume most on here have asked about there being 13 episodes because they are archiving their DVD's to plex, and they are using a file rename program utilizing TMDB as the programs reference along with plex. Which doesn't work very well when you have a different number of episodes. The DVD has 13 episodes, along with googles episode guide, IMDB shows 13, and so forth. So if we cannot change this one to 13 episodes like the DVD, etc. Could we create a second Terra Nova or even an alternate season for this one with 13 episodes? Thanks for your time.

They may have been produced as 2 separate episodes and broadcasted as a single one. Or they may have been produced as a long episode and split later for the DVD for example.
In any case, we always list the series the way they were originally broadcasted.
No, TMDB doesn't support alternate series versions.
