I was OK with how the pieces fit together. This ain't Lost.
I really like that Jenna was a big help in the end. Her attitude after the accident caused her blindness always seemed reasonable to me.
I liked the anti-bullying infomercial that the present-day high school represented, but the last few minutes for PLL The Next Generation was not needed.
Love her or hate her I. Marlene King always said Ezra and Aria were endgame.
The cellphone ringing at the wedding was funny.
Mona got a happy, hunky ending and got to run her own game.
I thought the line from Hannah "you stressing out my overaies" or something like that was funny lol
I did not like the pll next generation..first off I their acting...terrible and they could have gone without that.
No one (besides us the audience) found out the wren was the babies father.
And poor wren an innocent person ended up dead..well mostly innocent. (Did everyone besides Spencer know he was killed?)
I did predict that it would be toby that would be able to tell them apart..and I liked that
I like who everyone ended up with
I didn't like how Lucas wasn't in the finale apart from the 2 mins at the beginning.
I was not a fan of the spencers twin storyline..
The only good thing that came out of the ending was everyone ended up happy.
I'm not surprise by the ending. Marlene kept Pretty Little Liars to its' true nature of a soap opera. Every year there was a soap opera storyline. Alison faking her death, the transgender brother / psychopath, the evil twin, the affairs, the blackmail, the teeny bopper romance, the dragged out storylines, the constant worry of a secret being revealed, and other similarities. Pretty Little Liars wasn't exactly an action pack show. It was a teeny bopper soap opera. Reminded me a lot like Passions since it took years for some of the stories to be revealed. I've been reading a lot of the negative reviews on the last episode and I don't understand what show they were watching these last 7 years. If Marlene was going to give fans an action pack finale, she would have wrapped the A storyline up the first season and made each season a different mystery like Desperate Housewives did. I'm ok with how Pretty Little Liars ended for the type of series it was.
Ya I was mostly just disappointed cuz i wanted AD to be someone we knew..I mean spencers twin is like a new character we didn't even know existed but i guess AD = Alex Drake..so those initials were the tip..
At first I was disappointed by the reveal being Spencers twin - I had predicted Jason or Paige as AD (Surprised neither were in the finale). But in the end I actually enjoyed it. Cracked up when Alex and Mary were stuck with Mona in the end. That was the best punishment both could have gotten :) Actually thinking of watching it again
I'm currently rewstching from the beginning lol.
I just did some reading and AD was originally supposed to be Wren but he was too busy to make that commitment. Then Marlene thought they had to time with him and did write a death scene but it got cut.
They said the main reason it was a twin is because they needed AD to be a regular otherwise they would not know if they could get the actor back. But they never wanted one of the liars to be involved cuz this show is supposed to be about their unconditional friendship.
I would have liked it if it were Wren..too bad Julian couldn't make it.
P.s...hes Hottt!! Maybe it's the accent lol.
I'm currently rewatchinb and I don't get how Mona knew all this personal detail about their lives. Like she new stuff only alison knew...how was that? And how was it that all the text were sent at the exact time..? like they one a box and something creepy is there and they get some text message as soon as the box is open.I think she had cameras everywhere or something. Or am i just not supposed to read too much into it? Lol

It's very easy sending a group text to where multiple people can get it at the same time. Where I work at, we text each other with updates on our clients in a group text. We all get them around the same time the text is sent.
I believe it was shown that A always had cameras at almost every spot of the town watching the girls and devices to hear what they were saying.
As for Mona knowing all the things Alison did, Mona was stalking Alison a year before Alison faked her death. The Halloween episode "The First Secret" shows Alison getting texts from A. That A was Mona beginning the game.
Now here's something I need help with. When did Charlotte know about Mary? Before Marlene added Mary and Alex at the last minute, Charlotte was written as Alison and Jason's sibling. In the episode Game Over Charles, all the flashbacks Charlotte had and the way she was acting towards Jessica when it was believed Jessica was the mother, never made it seem like Charlotte knew of Mary at that point. However, in the last episode with their flashbacks Charlotte knew of Mary and Alex before confronting Alison. It's very lazy writing. So season 7 was a huge bore for me. Is there an episode where we see Charlotte learning about Mary?
Ya that's a good point..im currently halfway done s4 already lol.. but i remember when Jessica was killed cece was upset so i think she thought Jessica was her mother (Jessica was the one that always came to see her at radley right?) I'm not sure if cece ever found out the truth cuz Mary drake only came in the picture when cece was killed (I think). Mary drake knew she was her daughter but I don't know if cece knew..if she did..we never seen it.

I think Alex claimed to have that money. Maybe they can recover it now that she has been exposed. Nice catch about the Alex Drake = AD.

That's kinda what I was worried about. That they would be too afraid of damaging the ships to come up with a compelling story.

Are you talking about the finale or the series in general?
