Or will they trick us in the last episode by making us think everything is resolved and then in the last second all of their phones go off with a new text message? I swear I had a dream once that they were all in nursing homes still trying to hunt down A.

Thanks, now I will have nightmares too. I am hoping for a happy ending all around. When this show started. the network was called ABC Family. It is basically for a young audience. Thinking of those 2 things, I don't see a cliffhanger. Give this generation some hope. The lack of a cliffhanger doesn't mean they can't have reunion movies. I am still annoyed by what I thought (IMHO) was an unsatisfactory ending for Lost. There was so much that was never explained. PLL seems to be headed in a better direction now that Mrs. D's murder will apparently be solved next week. Just seeing Hanna's career stress having a tormentor makes me think I will be unsatisfied if AD or any minions are left around.

I would not be amused if they left it as a cliffhanger as I'd feel like the show was a complete waste. We haven't been suffering through all those seasons only to be back to square one. In the same breath though, I hope they don't rush it so we have a crap ending either. I guess we shall see!

I don't want the show to end with a cliffhanger, but for some reason, I don't want a happy ending for the liars. I like the show (as a guilty pleasure), but I never found the liars to be very likeable as characters and even though A.D is a sadistic bitch/bastard, I kind of want him/her to win :)

Hopefully the ending isn't too happy. It's always been kind of a darker show and with this being the end I wouldn't mind they take some risks with it. But I'm sure we'll get a cliche happily ever after ending.

I would kinda agree with you if I didn't find this A and his/hers predecessors kinda pitiful, borderline pathetic at their core; Mona I just feelt sorry for in the end, Cece was just an abused kid whom the liars really hadn't done anything to, and what's this incarnation of A gonna be about? Some pathetic excuse for a human being that has gone on some sort of tantrum when his/hers precious "dolls" moved on with their lives? I root for the villain sometimes but not that kinda villain!

That is very true, also. I didn't find Cece to be likeable whatsoever and she had no actual reason to go after the liars. I was glad when it was revealed that Mona killed her, even if it was by accident and in self defense.
Could it be Lucas who is after the liars? Is he trying to avenge Cece's death? That would be rather lame, especially because the liars are four nasty bitches, but they didn't do anything to Cece. I hope everyone dies, except for Mona, who is also a bitch, but just like you, I kind of feel bad for her.
