I know the show has been back for only a couple episodes but it's starting to feel like little to no plot progression.

Agreed. It would be much more exciting if they could reveal some details in each episode instead of waiting until the end.

I've watched a bit of this show before. I haven't got much reason to do it, other than ogling Shay Mitchell

That is an excellent reason. I expect the final episode will get a ratings bump just to see everything finally resolved.
