Another great episode. I love elephants, but that seemed the more difficult detour. The gross food challenge returned, although I have eaten scorpion and it isn't bad. Tastes kind of nutty.
What is up with Jessica getting pissy about being u-turned? Didn't she already do the same thing in an earlier leg?

I would have went for the elephant detour, because I can't with those gigantic frogs -- not even when they are dead like in biology.

Yikes. I know I would have volunteered to eat thinking I would be forced to eat something extremely hot. That's the only thing I can do with food challenges like that, which is to eat spicy or hot food. I know I would have preferred to wear the scorpions opposed to eat them.

My team Yale was so close, sigh. Maybe if they had switched up the final two tasks?
It seem the crab challenge took longer. What tasks are you referring to?
If Henry had done the climbing and Evan the boat building tasks.>
Yeah, I don't know why Evan demanded to do that task. It serves her right. Even so, I don't know if she would have fared better than Henry. Remember, the elephant challenge? She was soooo sure her measurements were correct. It almost cost them the race. Then, when they were searching for the airplane pieces, Henry wanted to stop and look at the designs, and she didn't see the need for it. If she stopped and discussed it with him, maybe it would have helped him in the challenge.
I think the latter half of the season was great. I wasn't a fan of the first half.
Agreed. I forgot how uneventful the first half of the season was.
That's because it put you in a coma, because it was such a snoozefest. I hope AM returns. My friend keeps telling me she hears that it won't.
It was narrowly renewed this past season. Given how it was aired this season, filler during the Olympics and marking time before next Survivor season, I fear that your friend is correct.

Yeah, the low rated Olympics didn't help matters.
This is what I found:
Season 30 Ratings
The 30th season of The Amazing Race averaged a 1.15 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 5.51 million viewers. Compared to season 29, that’s up by 39% and 37%, respectively. Find out how The Amazing Race stacks up against the other CBS TV shows.

Seems like they're in a big rush to finish this season.

I do not get that at all.

Wow, Yale almost won if Hen asked for a check. Oh well, I guess Jess can now afford a better weave, because her head needs a serious retouch.

I didn't see Cody and Jessica winning, and I don't like her much, but well done and congrats. I read somewhere that they are now engaged.
That final challenge looked insanely difficult. A great season overall.

Good for them. I wonder what is their next step, because that prize money isn't going to last long.
