It really isn't as popularly believed when the spirit of Josette Collins ( nee LaFrenier not Dupree) comes out of the painting around ep 70. The first spook appearance is around ep 30 when beautiful Vicki is in the drawing room and sees a masked, faceless figure standing around the room's entry way.
