One of which was the Salem Branch mostly written by late DS performer Lara Parker. Not only is the book not what actually happens to the Collins clan after the show went off the air but it had very rotten left-wing elements in it. Like local police or deputies who are very goonie and try to rob people of their constitutional rights like right to assembly.

There were books written on DS when the show was more current ( the above total tragedy fan fiction was written in the 2000's). They also are not canon. All that is canon is the TV show and maybe two films in 1970 and '71.
