She got no money to do just the narrations at the beginnings of the ep and nothing else in that ep. Also, she had Boston ancestry in one of her parents' side of the family. She is so partial to Boston. Also, she often looked her most beautiful and sexiest as Vicki in one ep where, under hypnosis, she went to the Old House and saw Barn in his coffin.

I thought the reason why Moltke stopped being the sole opening narrator was because Curtis didn't want to pay her for episodes in which she wasn't appearing. Which is why for the rest of the run the narration was done by one of the actors appearing on that day's episode.
