Discuss 黑暗陰影

It lays in the face. Yes, her resemblance to Liz. Also, Vicky had a roommate in NYC named Sandy. Sandy has a face similar to Bob the Bartender at the Blue Whale. Like she could be his daughter. Doesn't Bob look like he is same age as Liz. Same town too! Faces are important.

It's really a shame they never truly dealt with Vicki's past connection to the Collins family. I think most fans just assume she's Liz's daughter (which was often hinted at), but we never knew of the scandal that forced Liz to abandon her. Vicki and Carolyn were close in age so one wonders just how busy was Liz 20-25 years earlier.

I also really enjoyed Alexandria Moltke as the original Vicki. She had a very unusual elocution (maybe English wasn't her first language) which made her fascinating to listen, and of course she was beautiful. Notwithstanding the 5 lbs of hair on her head.

This was most likely how it would have worked. Betty Hanscom would have been the sister of the butler at Collinwood called B. Hanscom. They would have had another sister named whatever ( Betty herself was not Vick's mom as the former died years before Vic was born). This other sister and Roger would have been secret mates. Vicki would have been thus Liz's niece and David's half-sister.

If they had never created the Betty Hanscomb bit by ep 60 my scenario on Sandy and Bob would have been most likely the answer. Wait!Maybe it still was maybe Bob was B. Hanscom. Sure his name should have been Robert but hey possible!

On Alexandra Moltke and her real family background. She came from a Danish-Italian count of a father. She had French blood also. She is French -Italian. Thus her dark haired beauty looks.

FYI: A picture of Alexandra circa 2021, now named Alexandra Isles. It's nice to see she's aged gracefully and not messed with any evident cosmetic surgery or the such.

She was born in Sweden, to Danish & American parents. Her father was Count Carl Adam Moltke. Count Carl Poul Oscar Moltke (her grandfather) was a permanent member of the Danish Mission to the United Nations. Another interesting bit of trivia, she was the mistress of Claus von Bulow.

Thanks for the photo, Gen.

Funny, in the current photo of Moltke/Isles, she bears a resemblance to an older Jean Simmons. It's all keeping in the Collinwood universe.

Well. The Dark Shadows we think the most about is the original. There was no theory about the two shows being in the same universe or dimension. Actually, resemblance is somewhat in the eye of beholder. Not much does Jean Simmons come to mind when I see Moltke recently.

Like myself. I think I strongly resemble actor Tim Matheson ( Animal house). Others have told me I look nothing like him.
