Discuss I Love Lucy

It's now late March 2017, and no one's yet posted anything here, and this is one of the most famous and beloved sitcoms of all time, and very influential to television history and to how episode shooting and production was gone about from that time onward. So it's time to get some posting happening here.

I can't necessarily think of anything in particular to say, except that I always enjoyed (in rerun) this series while growing up, and especially enjoyed the Lucy and Ethel characters. I always thought (and still do) that Ricky was the least interesting or fun character.

I also love this show. However, I personally think Ricky is underrated, I thought he was a great and interesting character.

I still enjoy now and then watching reruns of this series when they air on MeTV on Sunday afternoons.

I laugh so much at Vitameatavegin and Lucy and Ethel in the Candy factory - no matter how many times I've seen it. Even Lucy coming out of the freezer with icicles on her eyelashes and hair get me hysterical even though I've seen it a thousand times! Even that big giant bread loaf coming out of the oven is still funny. My kids gave me the entire series on DVD a few years ago. I play the DVDs frequently. Lucy always puts me in a good mood!
