Paul is finally back, so Andrew even gets Harry to fill in as soccer coach so he can concentrate on campaigning to be allowed to stay. Despite Rebecca's mean suggestion to dump Andrew in a boarding school, he succeeds, gets Kyle rehired and sneakily discovers Paul risks his job if Lassiter's profit isn't restored. Lynn tells she knows Toadie isn't Steph's baby's father, is sworn to secrecy and decides to keep that promise after Steph blurts out Dan is the father.

Declan sees Andrew peeped in Paul's computer, is sworn to secrecy about his precarious position but follows Lucas's dubious advice to warn Rebecca just to put her feelings first. She absurdly expects Paul to tell her the next evening, failing that considers him a liar and asks Toadie's help to get out of the PiratesNet contract and possibly file for divorce. Paul feels betrayed by Declan and turns to Andrew again. Kate's first history lesson is a complete failure as Libby and Harry together can't help her keep order with Scott 'Griffo' Griffin or even just rascal Callum.

Andrew earns paternal praise for helping organize Lassiter's new building's grand opening while bitter Declan is ignored. Andrew masterly arranges for Paul to witness a shirtless Kyle admired noisily by females of all ages and Rebecca seemingly close with the stud, yet the jealousy venom is still disarmed by bar business figures. Naomi manipulates Donna to act and especially seems jealous so Ringo, whom she gets to make love, believes her lies and tells Donna to leave them alone completely.

Donna sees Naomi hug 'brother' Bradley, but failed to make her homework before telling Ringo, so she looks dumb and mean.

Doug warns Karl his relaxed patient care isn't compatible with hospital quota. Libby tricks Doug into a surprise-double dinner with her parents, which only adds to the aggravation.

Lucas, Zeke and Declan accepts a dare who raises most, loose despite a project with Donna, who shamelessly robs most of the profits, yet sort of outvote Lou on most pieces.

Naomi bales out f joining the gang at the movies and arranges for Ringo to 'rescue' her again in the hot-tub. Karl realizes she's lying but Ringo refuses to listen to his warning she's become unhealthily dependent on him, or worse. Principal Michael Williams invites kids to make proposals and openly discuss pros and contras with him, even involve parents.

Ringo realizes Karl must be right about Naomi's psychotic dependency on him when he accidentally discovers she has his stolen paramedic ID. He gets her to agree they should concentrate on their studies, but in fact she starts spying on him. Paul is looking for new income, either by cross-fertilizing Lassiters with his media branches or bidding for Michael's school catering contract trough Charlie's, for which Paul manages to scare off the competition, except Lynn because her bid is made last-minute. Paul offers Natasha a PR gig.

Cocky rivalry Karl-Robinson home leads by dare to Cat and Dahl being 'walked' in dog cages, but afterward all that's left of the cockatoo is a feather in the cat's cage, more proof then Karl needs to cry pet-bird-murder.

Andrew has a brilliant idea to reconcile him and Harry with Summer: a tailor-made gift to her taste, a horror-cartoon. It initially wins her sympathy again, but jealous Natasha, who wants Andrew to attend a posh party with her, while he invited Harry and Summer, convinces her rival they only try to make up to get in at the party, so she rather hangs out with chemistry partner Chris Pappas. When Andrew suggests Kate should apply business logic to advance her dancing career, Declan gets her troop invited at a restaurant function. The business crowd is so pleased that she's offered a regular gig.

Yet to stop her fear of Lyn going overboard as next of kin, Toadie proposes sort of a marriage of medical convenience.

Ringo sweetly accepts to be friends again with Donna, assuring her she's not the reason for his break-up with Naomi and accepting to wear their rings again. After a Blokes Club pep-talk, Ringo tells Naomi to back off completely, which she just refuses. Paul tries everything to cut costs. Callum gives dad his 'blessing' for a marriage with Steph and spreads the 'news', so there's no way back, while Lynn objects to a travesty of such holy sacrament. Karl accuses Paul of cat's foul fowl-slaying.

They find a shrine proving her obsession with Ringo and the file, which they convince the police to find officially without questioning their tip-off. Naomi is now arrested. Libby makes a spectacle of herself by stupidly scolding Doug for reporting the stolen hospital file, yet can't even apologize properly of admit her error when told that could cost his job and Karl's.

Ringo was starting to put Naomi out of his mind, but emotive Donna keeps rekindling pointless pity. Naomi runs under a car but has no lasting damage. Ringo insists to sit by her, but Karl forbids that. When she wakes up, even more obsessive about Ringo, Karl transfers her to psych ward for observation, but Doug overrules that. Scolded absurdly by Naomi, Ringo decides to leave the paramedic training program. Michael insists pupils must henceforth be allowed to address school staff on a first name-basis, which is appreciated by the boys. Natahsha enjoys taunting haughty control-freak Libby until she reverts to 'Moss Kennedy', then reports her to dad, who stands by his policy.

After a talk with curate Corrigan about friendship as solid basis for marriage, Lynn seizes her opposition and even offers to help with the wedding.

Harry tells everyone over the school intercom that Chris didn't bribe anyone and deserves to remain fairly elected captain. Griff openly turns on Natassa, whose dirty tricks are reported to the principal, her embarrassed pa, by Summer. As Lucas suggests, she gets full punishment, public apologies and chores, during which only Andrew generously takes pity and lends a helping hand. Michael even refuses to sign her modeling contract for Lassiter's, so as revenge she kisses Andrew, whom she's forbidden to see, openly at a school benefit brunch. Terry's company is doing terribly, so he discourages Ben from aiming at a showbiz career. Terry however has an eye on Lyn, who can't resist overdoing the wedding preparations.
