The witness is sure Toadie wasn't the one who dumped the car. Meanwhile, Henk accosts Sarah at the pub, again and she notices he has glasses very similar to the ones Toadie lost. Toadie suspects Henk is the car thief, but all he needs is a plan. Toadie arrives with Janine and she identifies Henk. The police arrive and make an arrest. After much negotiation, Sarah and Joel finally agree to help Lou out with his pear passion promotion. The carefully planned launch falls in a heap. The curtain rolls back to reveal Sarah and Joel dressed as Adam and Eve. But the pair appear anything but biblical, arguing at the top of their lungs about whether Joel's girlfriend should be allowed to move into No 30. With the help of Harold, Karl identifies the mystery poet, it's Susan. Karl decides to get her back by serenading her outside the window.

After last week's disastrous dinner party, Amy says she can't possibly go to Anne's 18th party. But Anne convinces her to change her mind and is shocked when Amy says she'll bring Damien. Paul and Hannah have decided to drop their grudges and be friends. Paul gives Hannah the letter he wrote whilst she was away, but never sent. Madge returns home from Queensland. She's hoping Paul has changed her mind about leaving Erinsborough.

Tad needs a job so he can take a Year 12 girl on a date. He asks for Paul's job after he leaves Erinsborough and only gets the job by undercutting Paul. Libby brings Tom home for a visit and he leads Bill astray with a night out at his old haunt - the Hammer and Anvil.

Bill's big day at the market is a disaster when he's ignored, but as soon as Amy starts spruking, things change and Bill sells all his wares. Drew offers Libby a trip back home to Oakey for the rodeo. Lance is desperate for money. He's blown all the insurance money and Phil is wondering where it is. As far as he can see, the only way out of his problems is a big win. Lance finds what he thinks is the answer, closer to home.

Lance gets a mate to lay one last bet for him, using the money he got from pawning Ruth's stolen fob watch. When he returns home he finds Ruth devastated and the family horrified at the invasion. Fortunately for Lance, the horse wins, but unfortunately Anne sees Chris hand over the winnings to Lance. Anne demands Lance tell Ruth that he's gambling or she will. Anne's plans to second time with Bill are thwarted, but in fact Bill is working on a surprise for her birthday. All is forgiven when he gives her the hand-made desk. Madge and Harold realize how difficult Paul's decision was to stay in Erinsborough.

Lance comes clean to Ruth and Phil about his gambling problem. They're worried and can't seem to get through to Lance. It's only when Amy approaches Lance to see if she can help, that he admits he has a problem. He admits to Amy that she stole Ruth's fob watch. Libby is starting to wonder if going to Oakey is the right move.

Lance is furious when unbeknown to him, Toadfish tries to get him a job at the pub. Lou is having trouble with Louise who is being very disobedient and only wants to spend time with Madge. Tad and Paul repair their friendship and cause a disaster at the radio station when they pretend to be trapped in a hold-up a Lou's pub. Tad's punishment is not to lie for three whole days.

Ruth is reeling from Lance's gambling admission and is angry to hear almost everyone else know about the problem except for her. A misunderstanding after Tad catches Paul & Hannah kissing, leads Hannah to belive this kiss meant nothing. Bess sets Sarah up with an aid worker she knows. Sarah is expecting one of Bess' typically hippy friends and is not keen, but is pleasantly surprised when the dashing Doctor Peter Hannay walks into the room. There's trouble in paradise for Joel and Geri when Geri starts to move her things into No. 30.

Karl and Susan hit the streets on a tandem bike. Karl's trousers get caught in the bike chain and they head to the pub for help. They can't get his pants free, so Karl takes them off and is promptly caught by Peter and Sarah in his underwear. Madge finally tells Lou of her fears. Lolly is relying on her too much and Lou reacts badly, thinking Madge is trying to tell him he's a bad parent. Peter and Sarah have a great night and don't arrive home until the early hours of the morning. Peter doesn't arrive to take Sarah to dinner as planned - has her potential new love stood her up?

Sarah runs into Peter and he apologizes for standing her up. They have a great lunch, but once again he leaves without organizing another catch up. Anne steals Bill's portfolio to give it a more professional look. Anne shows Vincenzo who orders an ornate, expensive bed and Bill is rapt. Lance finds the fob watch and puts it on lay-by.

Harold and Lou are embroiled in a food poisoning scare. Lance is devastated by Ruth's attitude and seeks advice from Amy. He writes Ruth an emotional letter which touches a nerve in Ruth. Drew and Libby breakdown just outside of Oakey and gets a tow into town with Drew's dad. Drew's family is pleased to see their prodigal son and all seem to think Libby is his girlfriend.

Peter does call and they end having dinner with Karl and Susan. Drew takes Libby on a tour of Oakey and it seems everyone assumes they are a couple. Harold shows Susan some poems he wrote when he had amnesia and she dosen't have the heart to tell him they are awful.

Even though they discover it's an over age concert, Paul, Tad and Hannah all sneak out to the Battery Acid concert. The night is ruined when they are sprung. Karl's dissatisfication about his job and life is starting to upset Susan.

Harold and Madge are upset with Paul's behaviour. Paul and Hannah offload Tad to spend time together. Ron pressures Drew to ride in the rodeo, for the sake of family tradition. He's finally worn down and agrees to enter, but he draws Chaffcutter, the meanest horse in Oakey and Rose is concerned. Ray, will win the championship, but Drew gives him a run for his money and stays astride his horse for the allotted time. Just as he's about the dismount, the unthinkable happened - he's thrown to the ground and doesn't get up.

Hannah and Paul are spending some time alone in Paul's bedroom - but it's actually a totally innocent encounter. All is going well until Harold arrives home and lets his imagination run wild. Tad has had a brainwave - organising an underage concert at the school. The Rodeo Ball goes into full swing and Drew and Libby are the star attractions. Drew finds it impossible to spend time alone with Libby as each are swept off their feet by eager locals. But Rose continues to match make, much to Drew's annoyance. Shell's waters break and she heads off to hospital to have a baby.

Drew and Libby head back to Erinsborough, but are held up when they discover Dougal has stowed away in the back of their car. Paul organizes a day at the beach with Tad, to end their feud, but drama continues when Paul and Hannah arrive late. Drew and Libby have to make a stop over in their trip home and are forced to spend the night in a dilapidated cabin. There's only one bed and Libby innocently wonders which side of the bed Drew would like, but Drew isn't ready for a platonic night in bed with the woman he loves.

Anne's day in court arrives, and thanks to Mildred she's pleased to send Gary back to Perth with his tail between his legs after winning the case. Lance is jealous of Anne's victory. Bill sets to work on Coletti's bed head and Karl only gets in the way. Bill finally loses his cool and takes out his frustrations on his work, splitting the beautiful wood in two.

Bill can't wait to move out of home and Anne is equally enthusiastic, until Phil presents her with a realistic budget and Ruth offers some sound advice. Anne tells Bill she wants to rent out the house, and Bill blames her meddling family. Lou and Harold are competing fiercely in the poetry competition, but Joel surprises all, and wins. Peter shows up on Sarah's doorstep, wanting to spend some time alone. Sarah forgoes her study but the pair have difficulty deciding what to do. They eventually come to a compromise and have an incredible day together which lasts until the early house of the next morning.

Peter thinks he may be called away due to a natural disaster in Karu. Sarah is doing her best to be supportive. Peter confides in Karl how deeply in love he is with Sarah. As Peter is about to leave, and the taxi is waiting, Peter confesses to Sarah that for the first time in his life, he's unsure about what to do. Should he go, or should he stay? It all depends on how Sarah feels about him. Lance goes to a huge effort to earn enough money to take Amy out to dinner. Amy thinks they should all move into Anne's and Lance takes this the wrong way. Lou diversifies into commercial plants. Harold orders some, as does Karl for Bill's workshop. To their collective horrors many more are ordered than expected and they are huge.

Peter has something incredible to ask Sarah. Bill finds out that Karl has been covering bills for his business. He works his butt off to pay Karl out of the business, as it's the only way to keep him from interfering. Joel is not the man he thinks he is, or is he?

Peter announces his engagement to Sarah. Anne opens old wounds when she decides to rent out Lily's house, and Lance finally makes a breakthrough at his Gamblers Anonymous meeting when he admits his compulsion.

A jealous Paul warns Tad to stay away from Hannah. Lance is hurt when Anne suspects him of being a thief. A debt collector arrives on the Martins' doorstep looking for Bill Wilkinson. Meanwhile Amy continues to nag Anne about letting her move into Lily's house.

Karl and Harold help Phil's business tee-off. Hannah meets the Rock Star Stig, the lead singer of 'Dead Drummers Society', and Tad learns his time is up in Erinsborough.

Toadie reveals that Tad's mum and dad are having a trial separation. Tad is stunned and is in denial. Toadie helps Bill get his Business into gear. Joel pushes Drew to to reveal his love for Libby, but she too has some news.

Libby confesses that she does have feelings for Drew. Lou finds himself in hot water and tries to cover his tracks by denying all knowledge of the tax fiddle.

Lou's tax 'solution' bites back. Anne and Fanto are too friendly for Bill's liking when Bill sees Fanto walking Anne into her place. Joel gets back on the road training hard. Bill makes a shocking discovery at the workshop.

Bill's dismayed at finding his workshop trashed by vandals. Madge gives Harold a new lease of life. Libby and Geri are not looking forward to their shift together at the pub.

Paul and Tad are obsessed by a BMX bike and Geri demands the truth - is Drew still in love with Libby? Amy and Lance are still keen to move into the spare room at Number Thirty? It's a case of may the best person win.

Joel and Toadie devise a plan to get themselves a couple of personal slaves - with Amy and Lance only too eager to oblige. Lou reminds Phil of his moral obligations, and Harold threatens Lou with legal action following the results of his blood tests.

Harold is determined to sue Lou, despite Madge's protestations. Paul faces a tough decision - should he buy a present for Hannah or a new bike for himself? Susan and Martin grow closer, and a guilt ridden moment follows for Susan.

Susan is having difficulty dealing with her feelings for Martin, confused she seeks counselling - is she just trying to get back at Karl? Drew persuades Harold to consider the consequences of his decision to sue Lou, and Libby seeks flight from her feelings for Drew.

Paul and Tad face up to the responsibilities of parenthood. Geri questions the reality of her relationship with Drew. Susan and Martin try to deny their mutual attraction.

Hannah refuses to let go of her desire for plastic surgery, but Phil has had enough and believes it's time to teach Hannah a little lesson. Susan tells Martin to keep his emotions under wraps, while Bill believes he stands a chance with Anne.

Phil has seen the way Fanto looks at Anne and cautions her about her continuing friendship with him. The investigation into Lou's tax affairs is imminent, and Lou's stress levels skyrocket.

Geri tells Drew about Libby's overseas plans, and Amy plays the dating game with Joel's rival Spiro. Lou's tax troubles deepen when Harold drops his plans to sue him, and Libby wants Drew to give her a reason to stay in Erinsborough.

Harold surprises Paul with the daggiest bike in the universe which doesn't match up to Tad's shiny new BMX. Joel brings up the subject of Libby's plans to leave Erinsborough and tells Drew not to stand by and lose Libby, and Geri finally tells him it's not working - it's time they ended the charade of their relationship.

Libby inadvertently makes Susan question her feelings for Martin. Harold makes an unwelcome discovery to find his beloved garden turned into a BMX track. An impetuous Drew decides to break up with Geri, but surprises Libby with a kiss.

Libby's heart proves stronger than her head, and Anne questions her own motives for seeing Fanto. Bill discovers his new job involves some rather odd practices. Martin confesses he is in love with Susan.

Amy and Lance continue to vie for the room at Number Thirty. Susan seeks advice from her counsellor about her feelings for Martin - has she got in too deep? Joel's Triathlon hopes look grim when his knee gives way during a final training session.

Joel competes in the triathlon despite telling everyone he has dropped out. A sporting star visits Ramsay Street, and Toadie and Joel’s Personal Slave scam is exposed - time for Lance and Amy’s revenge.

Lance and Amy are both furious to learn Joel and Toadie have been playing them off against each other and decide it's time to exact revenge over dinner. Lou is ruined and holds Phil responsible, and passion re-ignites for Lance and Amy.

Lance and Amy warily approach a new relationship, yet keeping their feelings secret. Bill considers complaining about the building site, but doesn't want to put anyone else out of work. Meanwhile, Harold and Madge attempt to compete with the new cafe bar.

While Drew and Libby are enjoying their new romance, Libby discovers Drew's shocking secret. As Bill is concerned about the dodgy practices going on at the building site he is soon swayed by silver-tongued building site manager Maurie. Susan comes close to revealing her true feelings for Martin and her frustration at having to resist temptation makes itself known over a family dinner.

Lance keeps up the pretence of being a jolly bachelor while rekindling his romance with Amy. Martin and Susan's relationship heats up. Susan can't lie to Martin - her relationship with Karl is not good but she's not prepared to give up on her marriage. Lou realises he will have to sell assets to cover his debts and turns on Phil.

Phil is bitter and disillusioned after having his friendship rejected by Lou and contemplates a career change. Lou's empire is about to crash. Drew seeks to take advantage of Lou's misfortune by putting in a bid for the garage behind his back. Are Tad's BMX buddies going too far?

Bill's hopes are crushed when Anne comes to visit him and thinks she is going to ask to get back together but instead is after space in his workshop to construct a sculpture for uni. When anonymous essays are swapped and read aloud in class, Tad's crush is revealed. Teabag wants to jiggle with Hannah, who finds herself on the receiving end of a generous gift.

Hannah finds herself unwittingly attracted to an Erinsborough bad boy. Joel accepts the offer from Dominator Sports to be one of their calendar boys. Madge looks set to be robbed at the Coffee Shop.

Tad's crush on Susan becomes more transparent. Faced with the problem of paying Lou the rent, Joel agrees to pose nude for the calendar. Susan continues to conceal her feelings for Martin, but Karl finds the atmosphere unbearable.

Joel and Toadie lose an old friend, but all is not what it seems when Bob makes a surprise return. Karl deals badly with Susan's revelation and reluctantly agrees to seek counselling. Ruth agrees to move away with Philip, but worries how the kids will take it.

Amy and Lance take a financial plunge when Amy's credit card spending gets out of control. Phil has managed to convince Ruth a move to Darwin is in their best interests, though Anne, Lance and Hannah refuse to budge. Bill toes the company line.

Lance and Amy get together to make a formidable sales team. How far will Joel go for money? A defiant Hannah makes moves to leave home and considers sharing a house with Teabag.

Libby's investigations at the building site cause a clash with Bill. Susan admits her marriage is a wreck, and hope is pinned on whether Karl will visit the counsellor.

Lance's gambling addition has merely transferred itself from horses to lottery scratchcards. Joel and Amy kiss - is love about to blossom between them? It's confession time all around for Susan and Karl as they reveal how they really feel about Sarah and Martin.

Joel's stripping leads to a mauling. Karl and Susan are left reeling by one another's confessions, and the desperate situation builds to the point where Karl leaves. Libby discovers Bill may be in over his head.

Hannah continues to test her father's patience - will she obey his orders to steer clear of Teabag? Bill tells Anne he wants her back, and Karl gets his marital problems into perspective when he gets lost in the bush and meets a stranger.

It appears Karl is missing and has been involved in a high speed chase, and whilst Phil is enthused about the move to Darwin, Ruth has cold feet. Bill and Anne redefine their relationship. Police suspect foul play in a case of the missing doctor.

As Bill awaits news of Karl he appreciates Anne's support, but her proximity only brings home the painful fact that they are no longer together. Joel's interest in Amy grows and he considers whether the time is right to make a move.

Hannah gives up on staying in Erinsborough - or does she? As Tad starts his job at Grease Monkeys he is shortly sprung in a big way, and as Joel likes having Amy around he moves in with a passionate kiss to show her just how much.

When Joel hears Lance and Amy have been back together for sometime, he learns he has been played for a fool. Madge decides having Tad work at 'Grease Monkeys' could have it's advantages and asks him to spy for her. Paul and Teabag look set for a punch up.

Bill is given the tragic news that Sam may never walk again, and Teabag threatens Paul and Tad when they consider reporting him to the police.

Bill debates whether to confront Maurie with his suspicions, while Susan and Karl are distressed by his admissions. The date of the strip audition is fast approaching, and Joel is getting more and more anxious by the minute. Amy discovers the facts about Lance's new addiction.

The time arrives for Joel to do his audition at the hotel. Lance falls back into his 'scratchy' habit giving Ruth another reason to stay in Erinsborough, but Lance assures Ruth and Phil that his addiction is under control. Anne gives Amy an ultimatum.

Joel scores a date with the venue manager, Natalie. As Lance and Amy agree no more secrets, Lance's suspicion that Joel was interested in Amy is confirmed. Ruth desperately tries to persuade Phil to stay in Erinsborough, and a terrified Madge is harassed by an intruder to her home.

Hannah is determined to patch up her relationship with Paul. Just when Bill feels his life has started to look up, his worst fears are confirmed when Anne reveals she would be interested now in dating Fanto if he asked her out. Paul and Tad look set to reveal Teabag's true personality.

Libby's future comes into focus with the appearance of an old school friend who tells her stories of travel and adventure, and Natalie is seen kissing a young man goodbye, suggesting Joel isn't the only man in her life. Teabag continues to harass the Bishops.

Joel discovers his new love comes with a lot of baggage - including a 15-year-old son - while Toadie encourages Bill to play the field and forget Anne, who seems to share more than a passion for art with Fanto.

Life grows more painful for Bill. Ruth's dilemma weighs heavily. Amy's greed disturbs Lance.

Amy could be in hot water over the aeroplane game. Hannah sees Red, and Susan reads the riot act over the video contraband.

Paul is tempted to meet 'mystery woman'. Toadie finds the real Bob and a possible love interest. A video mix up could see Paul and Tad in hot water.

Amy's aeroplane crashes. Natalie lays some ground rules with Joel, and Hannah discovers Paul's love notes.

Libby's dreams for the future are different to Drew's. Karl and Susan make the most of an embarrassing situation, and Bill can't be Anne's friend.

Bill tries to get Anne out of his system. An end to Paul and Tad's riding days, and a friendship hangs in the balance.

Joel is insulted. Karl throws down the gauntlet to Bill, and an unexpected house guest for Number Thirty.

Toadie moves too soon on Charlie. Harold's wheelie bin obsession angers Lance for which he arranges a payback plan. Meanwhile, Amy declares she wants to 'help others' to prove she's not self-centred, and Paul and Tad find themselves in trouble with the law.

Hannah is clearly getting a little emotional about the move. Tensions arise when Ruth cleans out Hannah's room and Helen's ring goes missing. Paul defies Harold for Hannah, and difficulties of Joel's relationship with Natalie are starting to outweigh the positive sides.

Susan is still getting stick at school over the Dr. Love article in Marguerite. Ruth wonders if she is any closer to solving who the close family source may be? Susan doubts they ever will know. She does not even know anyone who got a call from the magazine. Pippa overhears the conversation and puts two and two together.

The Scully family make themselves at home on Ramsay Street - and ruffle some feathers in the process.

Lou scoffs at Madge and Harold's new flower sideline, and Bill's letters to Anne are a bone of contention. As Drew is still resisting to go overseas, will Bill take the spare ticket and go with Libby?

Fanto is unimpressed to learn of Bill's behaviour over the love letters. Karl is upset to learn of Bill's travel plans and asks him if he is simply running away to escape his heartache over Anne. Meanwhile Anne's dinner party is a recipe for disaster.

Amy proves an unwelcome guest. Anne seeks out Amy and Lance to gather more news about Bill's proposed trip overseas. Michelle blackmails Paul, and Tad is determined to challenge Teresa.

Michelle blackmails Paul into a date. Tad is in hot water at home, work and school, and Bikers invade Ramsay Street.

The floral wars continue between Harold and Lou. Madge has a hair raising experience, and Charlie pops the question to Toadie.

Felicity makes a move on Bill, and there is an outbreak of Cricket fever in Ramsay Street. Joel and Lance are stunned when Toadie announces to them that if they won't have Charlie move in with them - he will move out to live with her.

Joel and Lance can't believe Toadie is serious about moving out with Charlie. Felicity manipulates Joe into giving his permission for her to do work experience with Bill, and Amy is horrified when Fanto suggests she pose nude for a painting.

Still disturbed, Amy feels it is necessary to warn Anne about Fanto. Fanto continues to pressure Anne to convert her house into a studio, and Amy suggests a replacement for Toadie at No. 30 - Katie, a flight attendant acquaintance.

Paul's work experience at Drew's garage doesn't go well. The boys desperately try to hatch a plan to deter Katie from moving in, and Felicity is forced to face the fact that Bill isn't over Anne.

Paul gets back in Drew's good books when he organises a deal with Stephanie. Teresa finds Tad working at Grease Monkeys when he's supposed to be doing an assignment, and Michelle seeks some advice from Steph.

Libby learns the conditions at Grease Monkeys are deplorable and sets about getting an inside look. Tad's life falls in a heap when he loses his job at Grease Monkeys, and while birdwatching, Harold inadvertently spies a scantily-clad Lyn.

An embarrassed Harold explains to Lyn that he was not spying on her, merely observing the Helmeted Honeyeater. Paul is determined to make Felicity fall in love with him, and pals up with Michelle to learn everything about her. Meanwhile, Tad tries to clean up his act.

Tad decides to come clean with Susan about the posters, and Susan encourages him to rise above it. Fanto persuades Anne to give her tenants notice, and there's a famine at No. 30, as the boys are broke.

Anne confronts Fanto. Libby gets her undercover job as Assistant Manager at Grease Monkeys. Harold enters a competition to photograph the Helmeted Honeyeater but is annoyed when Lou jumps in on the act.

When they learn Toadie has found a flat and intends to move in with Charlie, Joel and Lance try to be supportive. Grease Monkeys is forced for shut down, despite Libby withdrawing her article. Charlie surprises Toadie with her confession.

Joel and Lance are at a standoff over cleaning the house. Susan is having thoughts about being principal, which concerns Karl. There are wedding bells for Toadie and Charlie as they plan to marry.

No. 30 looks like a pigsty, while Lance and Joel continue their bet to not clean it first. Harold and Madge's application for a loan to buy Grease Monkeys is rejected, and Toadie gets a little suspicious when Charlie reveals she has visa problems.

When Toadie confronts Charlie about the letter she wrote to Rupert she begins to lie, but eventually breaks down. Toadie is torn between anger and pity, and the ice is thawing between Anne and Bill after Bill impresses Anne with his maturity over the Fanto situation.

After a depressing morning, Bill convinces Toadie to go nightclubbing. When Bill discovers Amy and Anne are at the same club, Bill tries to use a few pick-up lines on Anne as if they'd never met. Geri applies for Libby's old job at the paper.

Paul and Tad must decide which subjects to study next year. Meanwhile, Libby is uncomfortable about working with the manipulative Geri. Harold returns home from a night on the street with the Salvos, complete with bloodied face and hands - what happened?

Paul's attendance at the school social is threatened by Harold's injuries. The Scullys' financial problems continue. Susan decides to ask Teresa about her edgy behaviour, but is met with a curt reply.

Madge is torn between her emotional desire to jump on the first plane to Queensland and her need to stay and take care of Harold after her attack. Tad is excited when his father Barry comes to visit.

While Tad tries to deal with news of his parent's divorce, his father delivers another blow - Tad is adopted. After several days trying to make contact, Lance finally bumps into Amy at the pub.

Drew is upset that he has been a prawn in Libby and Steph's 'joke' with Geri and Anne. Amy fights over Anne's comments to Bill and Toadie that Amy's mum Josie is overbearing.

When Madge pops over to the Kennedy's to tell them she is heading off to Queensland she tells Susan it would be a mistake if she were to give up the principal's position at Erinsborough High. Bill has an embarrassing encounter with Felicity when he showers at No. 30.

Billy and Anne reunite. Teresa asks Susan for help. Amy is hiding shocking news. Drew's proposal plan does not go as he had hoped. Number 26 goes up in flames at the Millennium party.
