Mason is desperate as Robbo shortens the blackmail window to 48 hours and Paul refuses to lend him the cash, trusting on his plan which may take much longer. Asked for a blind lie, Chris works out the truth, in the presence of Josh, so the trio thinks up their own plan. Bailey learns Lou isn't interested in Sheila either and manages to appease both.

Josh and Mason first bicker, then turn together on Chris for telling the plan to gay, rich lover Hudson - until they hear he puts up the cash for Robbo's blackmail, well above their meager knavish means. Lucas meanwhile not only loses his early winnings, but end sup signing a $6,000 'IOU' to Robbo. Matt is deeply moved when Bailey show how well he portrayed his father as a noble role model in the school's pictures competition, unlike Callum's embarrassing Toadie-portrait.

Karl diagnoses Robbo so badly injured in a crash that his condition remains critical indefinitely. Many people hated him, making Mason, Lucas, Toadie -who can't recollect his whereabouts-, Amber -whom Chris and Hudson told about the averted blackmail- and others potential suspects, Sonya feels guilty for being relieved he'll probably be unable to testify at the court case.

Matt soon mistrust Mason's frantic attempt to construct an alibi, after repairing Imogen's crash-hit car's tail-light, for them and Amber. Toadie remembers he was probably drugged by Robbo, who meant to discredit Sonya, whose glass he drunk, as witness. Alas, Karl finds it's too late to detect any chemical traces, so Toadie's confession only works against him.

While Hudson dutifully trains his tail off for the state competition, poor Josh runs out of excuses to hide he can't, having been beaten black and blue by Robbo. Chris wonders where the blackmail payoff cash went. To Bailey's horror, Lou is dating again, and Sheila gets jealous enough to 'inadvertently' tell her thus-scared rival about his escort past.

Scolded for missing the state qualifications by Brad, who managed to reschedule, Josh can no longer hide her painfully bruised chest. Hudson generously pretends to have dealt the blow in a 'silly fight' even before Josh can gratefully confirm it was Robbo's doing during the blackmail payoff. Josh is shocked to see Amber at the fiend's sickbed and bitterly dumps her, but Chis explains that only proves how much he cares for her, confiding he also helped him, Hudson and Mason protect her honor. Toadie learns that Lucas was at Robbo's poker night.

Kyle discovers Lucas's poker debts at Robbo's table and gets Lucas to admit that he searched the fiend's place for incriminating evidence. Robbo's condition is critical. To Bailey's horror, Sheila meanly keeps to his promise to 'help out' for a month just for not telling Lou, piling up garden chores and disgusting him in swimwear. Paul renews his low offer to Lucas, who suggests moving to the country to Vanessa.

Robbo dies from his wounds, so the hit and run is now a homicide case, to which two murder detectives are assigned. They commend Matt's research so far, start interrogating and soon sense Mason's story doesn't fit. Worse, Georgia reports that his name was on Robbo's dying lips. Toadie is torn between the fears that an innocent suspect suffers for what may be his crime and what happens to his family if he's convicted. Desperate, Mason asks reluctant lover Kate to confirm his fake alibi.

Josh is grateful that Hudson covered up his bruises, inflicted by Robbo, and hence stops puzzled father and coach Brad to report the 'abuser' to the police after Karl diagnoses the damage non-lasting. The investigation into Robbo's fatal hit and run is looking now like a plausible homicide, with plenty of potential suspects, and various alibis are most unreliable. Even now Kate accepts to give him one, Mason is desperate to control Imogen's panic after she contradicted his version.

Brad scolds Hudson's sudden loss of competitive commitment and asks boyfriend Chris to help keep him in line, or the Olympic dream is lost. Emotionally confused, Josh can't stand being with Amber, whom Chris and Hudson advise to wait for Josh, not despair. Hudson tells Chris competitive swimming was his parents' dream for him, but he now found happiness in their gay love. After Imogen faints at home, Karl diagnoses her almost certainly with anorexia, as Susan suspected, and convinces her startled mother.

The police realizes the kids' story is wrong, so Hudson gets grilled. To his and gay lover Chris's great relief, dodgy former coach Don Cotter confirms their meeting, his alibi. Matt is officially relieved, after the police is tipped off that Robbo squatted the former radio station, which is searched, from the investigation, yet he's the one who realizes that the torn-up note found there must be an IOU, signed Lucas.

The police grills Lucas, who has no solid alibi. Paul warns Mason they're both in trouble if his poker man, Marty Kranic, is found and talks. Instead of celebrating Toadie no longer is the prime suspect, Georgia blames Kyle for not breaking his mate's confidence as badly as Sonya scolds ex Lucas, whose bride isn't very supportive either.

Seeing how desperate Lucas is as prime suspect, Mason defies Paul's warning by anonymously delivering to Lucas a cellphone picture he secretly took of Marty during a meeting where the hustler warned them he wouldn't go down alone if caught. Amber confides in Mason that she makes a logical suspect too, having hit Robbo on a desperate clandestine meeting in the fatal night. Brad can't get any reasonable reaction from Imogen, who keeps denying her bulimia and blaming her 'absent' parents, or wife Therese, whose confidence of a similar youthful episode seems to backfire in a gross tantrum.

Old Jack Lassiter, eager to do some good for the youth after a gold-digger life, finances rebooting the school radio. Josh openly questions it relevance, but Jack hears what a devout athlete the knave is, bonds with a fellow striver and inspires him to devise his own type of radio program: a scavenger hunt, for which he also donates a prize. Kyle is delighted that Georgia lets Sheila tempt her to take time off to see if she can build up a singing career, Karl worries about her putting off returning to work after Robbo's traumatic death.

Josh's radio show treasure hunt is a big hit, Lou and Bailey dig up the price, Jack had so much fun he wants to repeat it. The rumors about Toadie being a murder suspect cause a client to demand her case transferred to another lawyer, Sonya's lies to make her reconsider backfire.

Amber and Robbo rekindle their secret romance, but while Amber wants to go public, Robbo is keen to keep the truth from her parents – and from Mason. Amber agrees to keep it quiet for now, but confides in Kate, who encourages her to come clean with her parents. Amber won’t, and puts Kate in an awkward position by asking her to keep her secret.

Chris and Kyle are still reeling after learning about Scotty and Georgia’s engagement. Neither of them wants to be the one to break the news to Georgia.. Kyle has to work with Scotty, and can’t resist letting him know he’s onto him. Scotty then lies to Georgia, telling her Kyle is being hard on him at work, leading Georgia to believe Kyle’s acting out due to jealousy.

Amber freaks out when she finds it’s morning and she’s still with Robbo in his panel van. Feeling guilty about hiding him from her family, Amber wants to tell them about their relationship but Robbo convinces her to wait until he’s got a job and can make a good impression.

Horrified to learn that Amber has been keeping a secret – her relationship with Robbo – Bailey urges Mason to tell her the truth about the break-in. Mason resists but realises they have no choice. Amber is rocked to learn that Robbo set up the break-in and that Matt covered for Bailey. But when Bailey insists that Robbo broke in at home looking for his share of the money, it’s too much.

Bailey is suspicious when Mason assures him that he’s taken care of the Robbo situation. Bailey presses for details, but Mason is evasive, not wanting to tell his brother that he’s agreed to go through with an armed robbery, in exchange for Robbo leaving town, and never seeing Amber again. Amber appeals to Mason, wanting him to patch up his differences with Robbo.

Lassiters is a war zone, and lives hang in the balance as the injured are raced to hospital. Rani continues to reject her mother, unaware of the nightmare that is unfolding – while Toadie does his best to convince Callum that Sonya is going to pull through.

As Matt investigates the robbery, he learns more about the people in the community who are each dealing with the aftermath of the explosion. When Mason learns Sonya is in a coma he goes to visit her in the hospital. Georgia tells him they don’t know when Sonya will regain consciousness but they’re hopeful. Mason takes the opportunity to try and cover his tracks.

Toadie is reunited with Sonya, but she struggles to come to terms with her memory loss. Toadie assures her it will come back – she has to give it time. News of Sonya waking from her coma travels… Mason finds this out from Lou but learns she has suffered memory loss and later hears she is working on trying to recover it.

After being confronted with the truth about Scotty’s sexuality, Georgia reels, unable to understand how after eight years, she could have missed something so significant. She goes to confront him, only to find he’s gone, having left a short note confessing that the accusations are true.

Kyle is relieved when Georgia apologizes for practically blaming him and Chris and assures her not to expect a rebound relationship, yet he insists to be off men indefinitely. Amber's tutoring session with Kate provides Mason and Bailey opportunity to go snoop for the robbery loot in Kyle's garden, but Sheila is on guard. Ajay prepares a court case to demand huge damages from Paul, which might cost him Lassiter's, but must agree he's not objective, so Toadie should take the case.

Caught snooping by Sheila, Mason and Bailey convince her the cash, which she states having find, supposedly was earned and hid embarrassed by 'gigolo' Lou. Grandpa plays along to collect the fortune from her, but demands the truth from the rascals. Served a subpoena by gloating Ajay, Paul is openly appalled that Andrew's first concern isn't for the firm, the knave that his father's isn't for the explosion victims. Lou finds a negative pregnancy test, assumes it's Lauren's but thus makes her realized Amber secretly had serious sex. Grilled by her parents, the birdbrain admits that her lover is robber Robbo and tries to 'deflect' anger by blurting out to mother that Bailey helped Mason by driving her car as getaway and father kept well-meaning kid son's part out of official records.

Andrew is startled when Tasha says she dropped out of college to travel around the world, without precise plans. The invitation to join her and stop 'trying to please Paul' seems absurd. Instead of sharing the loot with the boys, as Mason proposed, Lou donates everything to the hospital. As mother's panic rage dies down, the Turner family seems to settle in things. Paul is tricked into signing what he ignores to be permission for Sophie to attend Syndey conservatory, which he explicitly refused.

Andrew decides to stop "living for Paul's approval" and start by joining Tash on her European journey. Paul discovers Sophie's dirty trick but lets Kate convince him to allow her studying in Sydney and to give Andrew a warm send-off. The wedding video kick-starts Sonya's memory.

Kyle and Chris hesitate whether to tell Lucas and Vanessa about the pron pictures of her they saw in a magazine left by mason, but both already found out. When Lucas hears it's a reprint from when she was 21, things are quickly smoothened. Susan starts working as principal. Bailey and Callum organize a memorial for Priya. Even Ajay didn't realize that Rani is just acting normal, but Callum offers welcome support.

Paul offers Rhys's mother Elain Lawson a cash settlement if she waves any court claim, Ajay urges her to hold out for much more, but backs down after Vanessa somehow scolds them cocky and insensitive. Sheila wants to be promoted Charlie's manager now Andrew and Tasha have left, but refuses to pay Paul's price: convincing Elaine. Susan has to stop Callum form bullying Alistair, who apologized for his father's Internet-abuse of Priya to Rani, only to be scolded irrationally with the startling claim that Priya is still alive.

Matt Turner gets desperate about his wife bitching at him whatever he does. The boys hope a 'family game' of street cricket will release tension, but Toadie, who wriggles in and appoints himself umpire, semi-accidentally gets the wooden ball in the crotch which she meant for her husband. Paul is relieved that Elaine accepts a settlement out of court, giving him courage for the legal battle against Ajay, who remains determined to 'revenge' the victims. Romantically crushed Georgia buries herself in nursing, but too may shifts exhaust her enough to make a serious mistake. Paul tells Kate, who dares 'lecture' him about a younger one night stand, to grow up or move out.

Paul fears the end of his business empire wen a preliminary forensic report suggests he's accountable for the wedding explosion. Kyle and Chris however discovers, when they use the same type of gas bottles, that most of those leak and inform the police. So the official report is revised, no longer suitable for Ajay's mega-damage claim. Lou insists the Turner parents must have dinner with a riper 'crisis-resistant' couple. Karl and Susan constantly bicker politely, yet that does the trick, so Matt can resume his rightful place at home.

The three Turner boys promise to stick together, for the while family's sake; even more after Matt receives an anonymous 'I know what you did' note from their previous home town. Sheila starts her precarious career as Charlie's manager by hiring Pete, hunky enough to attract female and gay attention, but bar-business ignorant. Paul isn't impressed by his poor performance, yet enough by the higher day takings to grant Sheila a wager about working him in fast.

Kyle stubbornly decides to throw a birthday party for depressed Georgia, who ends up canceling when asked to do an extra shift in hospital. For Mason, it's an opportunity to score a date with Kate after all. When he wakes up, his country girlfriend Rhiannon Bates has crawled in bed with him. Pete has an accident which gets him checked out in hospital, where he seduces Georgia.

After discovering country-ex Rhiannon in his bed, pretending they are a steady couple, Mason hastily evacuates her past his siblings before the Turner parents return and tries in vain to make her leave town and his life again, but remains too friendly. Chris asks Georgia in vain to stop avoiding him as if Scotty's bi-infidelity were his fault. Kyle is not amused to learn that she not only bailed on the birthday party he threw for her, apparently pretending to do an extra shift, but spent the evening with studly new barman Peter. Although the mates need a third man instead of Rhys, Kyle jealously rejects Peter, so Rhiannon gets the room. She does arrives with the triumphant news just when mason is mending his chances for another date with Kate, who feels he just has a fetish for 'older women'.

Having heard from Rhiannon that Robo returned to Mount Isa, Mason decides to confront the scum in his former country home town. Bailey fears big brother can't be saved unless the police can get involved, so he wants to stop everyone from protecting him by confessing his robbery complicity at the precinct. Kyle is startled when Pete says Georgia dumped him too, even asked if he was gay. Mason changes his plans after Rhiannon confesses she, not Robbo, sent the threatening letter to his father on jealous impulse.

Mason is just in time to drag Bailey home before he can confess his accessory robbery part. The excuse about an imaginary cat passed on to father betrays they were there, Bailey spills the beans and the Mason men make a pact. Ajay vindictively waves Paul's offer to join forces against the leaky gas bottle manufacturer. Mason tells Rhiannon there's no point in moving in to be near him, who will never love her, which fuels her jealousy of Kate, but she can't afford moving back home, where her sister minds her young son. Rani is obsessed with Priya's 'ghost'.

Lucas's renovations in his house delight Vanessa, who can't wait to move in. Mason promises to get rid of Rhiannon, but sees no realistic way. Karl forces Lucas to face a test with grim results: he has testicular cancer, which must be removed urgently if it hasn't spread tragically already. Luckily for Ajay, Priya's therapy period diary, which Kate unwittingly encouraged Rani to read, proves that she remained confident in her frustrated daughter's love. Paul still refuses to face that he misses Priya too.

Chris jokes Lucas only gets away with so much time-off being the owner, ignoring his grumpily distracted boss's cancer nightmare. Steffie is released from jail, and appointed by Lynn manager of the shop, hence unamused Vanessa's far less competent boss. Georgia sassily ignores Karl's warnings. Insecure Amber lets class bully Cassie humiliate and blame her, despite Kate's help offer.

Chris remains puzzled by absentminded Lucas. Steph arrives to manage the coffee-shop, but realizes Vanessa is a valuable, talented employee and seems eager to keep her on. Sonya is irritable, fires her nursery assistant but can't cope with work here herself. Vanessa starts to doubt the foundation of her relationship with Lucas.

Kyle is amused by Rhiannon's blatant flirting, but disapproving Sheila grimly holds her back while bitching about domestic chores. Mason dismisses Lou's theory that Kate may just not fall for him and gets her to admit she's attracted. Finding Georgia depressed about her forced vacation, Pete offers her pills. Lucas takes ex Stephanie for a motorbike ride after she admits she can't wait to get her drivers license back.

Kyle and Chris kindly consider how they can help cancer-patient Lucas and Sonya, who can't even quite cope with her healthy baby, nor run the nursery alone. In-living Georgia, suspended from hospital, insists to babysit. Stephanie plays the victim, even blaming ex Toadie for 'messing up her trial defense', obviously jealous of Sonya.

Paul dismisses Rhiannon's cheap flirtation attempts, but Sheila teaches her to be more subtle, while he hires a detective to find dirt on Kate's undesirable suitor Mason. Grandpa Lou suggests Kate might be the rare girl not impressed be the knave's physique, and accidentally catching her sunbathing topless seems to wreck his chances. Instead he decides to stage a 'getting even', but only apparently unappreciative Sheila bumps into his towel-down exposed anatomy.

Despite the embarrassing towel-down incidents, Mason keeps flirting Kate, braving Shela's mean cracks. Paul tells 'undesirable' Mason to leave his niece alone or he'll divulge the knave's juvenile record. Paul invites Rhiannon to a hotel suite, only to be left handcuffed. Mason finds and photographs him, to counter-blackmail, yet comes clean to Kate. Ajay agrees to let Toadie join his private law practice.

Mason shocked his family by telling he revealed his juvenile record to Kate, who sort of deals with it. Only Bailey realizes Mason must have another secret and gets him to admit he was involved in Robbo's hotel robbery. Sonya tearfully admits she still can't remember her wedding.

Kyle is happy to stand by Georgia who claims Pete stole the missing medicine but actually accepted some from him herself. Mason is relived not to have lost Kate despite Paul and the truth. Chris's support helps schoolgirl Amber overcome her class bully, who new risks unpopularity herself.

Despite Karl's and Toadie's help, Georgia may loose her nursing career over the missing medicine unless she retrieves it fast. Amber's disgraced class bully Cassie ran away but is found, as well as the surprising root of her virtual aggression. Paul promises Rhiannon a paid fun evening to wine and dine a womanizing municipal councilor whose vote he needs for the development project.

Kyle learns that Georgia stopped going out since she fell out with Pete. She refuses to go to the hospital's fund-raiser dance with him instead, but he treats her to a dressed-up private dance dinner at home. Paul needs a third municipal councilor's support to approve his development project. It's a womanizer, so by way of bribe he pays Rhiannon as virtual escort, without clarifying how far she must go.

After the private dance, Kyle is back in Georgia's good books, but her job prospects still look desperate. To Paul's horror, Rhiannon fails to deliver on her paid promise, even publicly exposes their escort deal in the womanizing councilor's presence. Mason can't get out of waiting again on Toadie's second wedding reception.

Toadie gets his second wedding reception. It goes well, but also ends up kick-starting Sonya's memory: the bride recognizes Mason is wearing the robber's buckaroo belt. Lucas is in trouble when Vanessa learns that he jumped to rescue Stephanie when she called about panic on a motorbike. Toadie makes them consider both men's ex is probably deliberately stirring.

Sonya's testimony about the wedding reception robbery forces the police to arrest Mason as prime suspect owning the robber's buckaroo belt. Bailey got wind and testifies to his part in the first robbery. Father Turner fails to stop his youngest and decides it's time to come clean completely, even if it may cost his job. Lucas explains to Vanessa about his coming to scheming, jealous ex Stephanie's rescue.

After Sonya regains her memory, she struggles with the idea of reporting Mason to the police. Toadie convinces her it’s the right thing to do and Mason is arrested as a result. Mason refuses to implicate Robbo, even when Matt pleads for him to protect himself. Bailey, wanting to protect Matt, reveals his involvement in the Mt. Isa break-in which in turn leads Matt to spill the beans.

Mason sneakily gets into Kate's hotel room; where she accepts to make love. Paul finds out, but she refuses to drop her lover, preferring to move out. Chris fears that a court case may lead to another attack from a criminal, so Lucas lets Mason go, who sensed having become undesirable. Taunted at school, Bailey gets a black eye in his first-ever fight, while his father is suspended. Hearing the whole Turner family is heading for utter misery if Mason is convicted, which Ajay considers far more likely without a job, Chris tells Lucas they should rehire the mechanically competent rascal. Paul is reported for 'attempted' bribery by the corrupt councilor.

Chris convinces Lucas to take Mason back to avoid harming the Turner family's trial prospects, and organizes a surprise birthday pool party for Amber. Chris waves Sheilas' warning that Ambers' kiss is more then gratitude and naively believes the brat's claim she never was romantically interested in the openly gay prize pup. Paul fears his career compromised by municipal councilor Allan Hewitt's formal corruption complaint and discovers the case is to be handled on HQ's account by his sister Lucy.

Kyle goes all the way to help prove Georgia's innocence by finding the real medication thief. Their only lead is that a schoolboy is selling some, so Amber is convinced to act as bait. He's too clever to walk into the actual trap and even files a complaint himself for harassment, but when Georgia recognizes his mother as a hospital colleague with chronic back troubles, the pieces fall in place. Paul's last attempt to bribe his way out of the fraud allegations doesn't achieve the desired result.

Kyle gets off with a warning for his well-meant but utterly illegal 'citizen's arrest' of school 'dealer' Lachie Maroon, whose mother is found the medicine thief, so Georgia gets her nurse job back and rewards Kyle with kisses.

Preparting the court case with Ajay is extremely stressing for the Turners. Mother snaps at Sonya for denouncing Mason without any warning. mason puts her in her place, stating they all made mistakes unlike Sonya, who gets and graciously accepts apologies and a cake. When Lucas learns from Stephanie that Vanessa has been married but never told him, he calls off the wedding without waiting for her story, actually that it was an impulsive girlish error to rebel. Romantic rivals Baily and Callum both do audition for the lead in a school play to be 'directed' by indecisive Rani.

Kyle greatly enjoys celebrating Georgia's job readmission in the hot-tub, but she soon bails on a faint excuse, only to come to her senses about his devotion after a pep-talk from his ex Kate. Bailey gets the school play lead, Callum just a small part. Vanessa tells Lucas she's moving out with baby Patrick if he won't marry her, Steph hopes to take her place.

Ajay prays, at first sight in vain, that police superintendent Hayes may have a 'good day' and let the Turners off without trial. Bailey is suitably terrified, says the right things and gets off with a stern warning. Father grimly counts himself 'lucky' to be demoted to senior constable, losing twenty years of his career but job nor freedom. Maso is delighted for them, yet scared to death he may not be able to cope if tried and convicted to adult prison. Kyle is puzzled when just after even Sheila gives them her blessing, Georgia again leaves his hot-tub with a feeble excuse. this time she's scared to tell him she applied for an overseas relief nursing course, despite an earlier promise to stay with him.

Chris was looking forward to a non-committal bar date with client Seamus Illich, so either is amused when Amber keeps bugging them and warns him Seamus "isn't serious". Paul grudgingly recruits formal local Terese Willis as hotel manager, so she's expected to move back. Lucas spends time with Stephanie now Vanessa moves out.

Chris is puzzled why his date Seamus canceled their second date, until Amber admits she stole his cellphone to pose as him to that end. Sheila now points out the brat must be in love with Chris, absurdly hoping he's bi or can be 'converted', and makes sure Lou talks to her. Kyle accidentally finds out that Georgia hides having enrolled for the overseas nursing course anyway. Rather then talk properly, she dumps him. Ajay and mason fear he may well face adult jail. Against Lou's advice, Bailey decides to let Rani have Callum and vice versa.

Unwilling to accept losing Georgia, Kyle takes his cue from Kate that she needs closure, so he gets Scotty to visit her, then assures her to accept her overseas nursing plans. Ajay's bill makes Matt Turner realize he can't really afford mason's defense. Kate makes Paul promise to pay for a top lawyer, but he actually instructs Tim Colins to loose on purpose, so her undesirable lover-knave goes to jail. Bailey tries Mason's advice to act so badly Rani will sack him, but ends up performing well as rival Callum pushes him.

Paul got municipal permission for his real estate project and puts grateful Mason to menial work. Lucas Ajay smells a rat about Paul paying for Mason's lawyer and offers to plead his case pro bono, but the knave already accepted and refuses to fire Tim Collins. has an intense conversation with Vanessa, decides to stay a steady parents couple after all and agrees to break completely with Steph, so she cancels her shop job and resolves to cater.

As the residents of Ramsay Street gather to witness the eclipse, Lauren is shocked to see Brad Willis move back to the street, Lucas plans a surprise for Vanessa, Kyle has an accident and Kate sees an old face.

Lucas and Vanessa discover baby Patrick is missing from his crib. Their fear that the boy may be stolen is practically confirmed when mat, who takes charge although off-duty, gets the newly moved (back) in Willis's family's testimony that someone resembling Steph sneaked in and out. Karl discovered she stopped taking her medicine, prescribed by the prison psychiatrist, her absconding constitutes a parole breaker. Everyone wants to help, Brad's son Joshua even if he must more then make up double for the missed swimming practice. The precinct can't provide Kate any more evidence about Mark's death now she saw his 'ghost' during the eclipse.

Vanessa lashes out at Lucas as Patrick remains missing, Kyle is given news about his eye injury and Lauren's attempt to keep her history with Brad secret from Matt doesn't succeed for long.

Thanks to Lucas's history with Steph, baby Patrick is found and retrieved, yet freaked-out Vanessa somehow jealousy blames him too for the kidnapping. Kyle dislikes needing help, even from Chris or Georgia, so much he rather keeps cutting himself, so Sheila decides to let him find out the hard way- slashing a bottle and stepping into the pieces. The play rehearsals remain agony for Bailey and Rani, so she starts changing the script.

Joshua Willis's grueling champion swimmer training schedule impresses the neighborhood veterans, so Mason can't resist competitively 'joining in' his park exercises, showing off his no less muscular tors for their supposedly uninterested sisters' benefit. Kate is blown over when her 'ghostly' ex Mark Brennan actually shows up, just when she believed Toadie that waiting for him would be pointless. Ajay makes Rani reconsider canceling the play, the ultimate disloyalty to the fed-up actors, instead she rewrites the ending completely, so she won't have to kiss embarrassed Bailey.

Lou strains his back, trying to help out at Kyle's yard, so he must allow Sheila, on Karl's orders, to take care of him. Mason is worrying if reemerged Mark may win Kate back. Despite her telling both suitors she has chosen Mason, their bickering almost turns violent after Paul tells Brennan Mason his a criminal record. Vanessa makes up with Lucas and warns Stephanie to keep well away from their family forever.

Paul tells Kate to pick Mark, promising to continue paying Mason's defense either way. Dutiful son Joshua delights father Brad by focusing completely on their Olympic swimming team dream, and keeps on top of his school work, leaving no team to even notice girls, such as as Amber, while his jealous neglected' sister bitches that nobody thought of getting her a school uniform. Mason overhears a hotel call, thus learns that Brennan has a Sydney lover and tells Kate, who, after preventing a brawl between her rivals, dumps Mark, as she seemed to be working up to anyway. Paul deals with new hotel manager Therese's petty continuous pestering on top of demanding payment for his owner perks, reducing him to a staff discount. Mason dumps Kate, refusing to be her second pick.

Kyle refuses to bide his time while his eyes heal, slower then hoped even, so Chris reluctantly lets him try helping out on the firm yard, but Kyle keeps overdoing it, worse even wonders onto the street, nearly overrun by a car. Karl hosts a neighbor families dinner with the Turners and Willises, but while the mothers enjoy and the kids get along politely, the fathers cockily compete over everything, as if Therese still had to be won. Josh clarifies to obviously interested Amber that his Olympic swimming and school schedules simply leave no time for anything resembling romance. Mason starts to regret having dumped Kate, but Paul makes sure he learns they kissed, rekindling his rift fury.

Brad and Matt make up the morning after the tense dinner, even agree to join the men's shed to bond over sports and beer. Bailey graciously accepts Rani's latest final act rewrite, which transfers the kissing scene for his character to delighted Callum's. Since it includes a dance scene, Ajay assumes that under Bollywood conventions, sex is implied and informs Toadie, who 'coaches' Callum, while neither kid had such intent. Lauren's old home sketchbook nearly refuels the men's rivalry.

Ajay and Toadie mistrust Paul paying to have Mason defended by Tim and gather evidence that the crucial witness statements from hotel staff, who become the meat in the sandwich as Paul and Therese bicker, still haven't been collected. They convince Matt to tell his son it's better to switch lawyer, just before the trial. Bailey is miserable but protests not, even when Callum asks tips for the final kissing scene.

Kyle is fed-up with his disabling blindness, refuses to 'be a burden' and thus piles up needless practical problems. Matt opposes Lauren's plan to by the coffee-shop, which Lynn can't afford after Steph's shenanigans, as it would require a massive loan with his demoted salary. Ajay's plan works, after Paul fails to wriggle out of delivering positive witness declarations. Mason gets off with community service, embarrasses Paul and thinks of taking Kate back, bit she thinks the contrary after seeing him take a helpful girl-pupil-witness to the movies.

Focused on his dream to make the Aussie Olympic team, Josh dutifully follows all coach's orders, like another ghastly diet, and tells Amber there's just no time for a social life. However another successful coach gets Josh wondering is father Brad's stubborn ideas aren't outdated. Still blind Kyle's hurt pride and fear to be a bother climax when he discovers Georgia sneakily took time off to look after him. Chris tries to calm her down when Kyle doesn't show up all night or next morning.

Kyle is found in the men's shed but so fed up with needing help that he insists even Chris must abandon his handyman jobs. When Georgia comes bug him again in the hot-tub, he replies their relationship never seems to work, which she takes as being dumped. Josh is less amused the she embarrassed when he sees trough Amber's flimsy excuse to watch him training swim-trunks-only. Father Brad objects, as coach, to his knave trying out another training method and a longer distance. Mason reluctantly accepts a second 'date' with Imogen, which Kate takes as proof her pupil and 'rival' has won him.

Bitter over the loss of Georgia and Mason, Kyle and Kate made love, but tell nobody, which he soon reconsiders to her horror. Chris finds out, disapproves but promises Kyle buddy-discretion. It gets even more delicate when Georgia asks Kate's help to make up with Kyle. Lou lets slip to Sheila that he hesitates to accept an invitation to visit his half-Asian daughter, an aid worker, because he feels the Turners need his support, but Sheila gets Lauren to tell him to go and really bond.

Kyle visits his country family to escape his frustration. Chris discretely scolds Kate for their second secret one-night stand, unamused he must now lie for them again. Finding out he lost the kissing part, Callum picks a fight with Bailey, who even apologized without any fault, and vandalizes the set, yet gets off with repair chores. To win the rascal pack, Rani rewrites the finale again, hours before the performance.

Now Steph's antics have ruined Lyn, she wants to sell Harold's fast. Paul wants it, now his hotel gives him no more satisfaction due to hostile manager Willis, who even fires his spoiled reception protégé Caroline Perkins. Lucas and Vanessa want it, so she can run it. Matt allows Lauren to bid now the trial hasn't ruined them. Callum agrees to star in Rani's revised play, and to afterward to take her back, but only if she agrees to break off all contact with shocked Bailey. Caroline asks Toadie to handle a complaint against Paul for alleged sexual harassment.

Mason is semi-amused that Imogen flirts with him publicly in vain attempt to attract attention from her family, where Josh's Olympic future is the prime focus, but only Josh feels the need to 'come to her rescue'. The Willis siblings are relieved after explaining to the principal a suspicious similarity in their A-graded essays. Brad tries to take Josh's own opinions more into account as coach, but can't resist reimposing his old sprint-only logic.

Kyle is back after some home spoiling and gets a lecture from Chris whom he and Kate put in an impossible position. Brad politely declines Matt's suggestion to reconcile their sons by inviting them to the gym. Josh is mentally exhausted, pulled in all directions while training his tail off non-stop, depending on Imogen's help to keep his grades up to mother's absurd expectations. Amber undoes all her efforts to interest Josh by scolding his misguided defense of Imogen against ex-con Mason.

Chris still worries about Kyle's secret affair even after he successfully makes up with Georgia and invites Mason, who is miserable after Imogen broke up considering him unable to forget Kate, to a barbecue party. Paul skillfully finds the blackmail angel to scare Caroline Perkins out of a harassment case, but Terese, obsessed by her own youth stupidity, insists on 'compensation' and convinces Lucy to give her a veto against Paul's business decisions.

Kyle may finally remove his bandages and gets his eyesight back, but remains obsessed with Kate. Josh is left to train alone when father Brad decides to spend time with allegedly 'neglected' Imogen. Joshn meets reputed coach Don Cutter, who recommends testing on longer distances, and accept to join his team to that end, most satisfactory for both of them, leaving Brad as daunting last obstacle. Barney Wellington diagnoses Harold's kitchen electrics an expensive mess. Lauren can't afford it and plans to cut down on Vanessa's hours. Matt, who must find out by accident, and Lauren are delighted with an alternative: a private loan from Lucas in exchange for use of the kitchen after hours, so Vanessa can try out her long-planned cupcakes bakery project.

Josh is completely convinced that experienced coach Don Cutter can train him in time to make the Aussie Olumpic team, unlike his father, and practically agrees to join his team. Brad is shocked, having given up his job to coach his boy full-time. After seeking legal advice, the doting father agrees, provided the contract gets an escape clause for Josh, not just for Don. Despite pressure from everyone to be reasonable, Callum jealously refuses to talk to Bailey again or even allow Rani to do so.

Chris prods Kyle, who can see again, to concentrate on mending his love-life with Georgia, but he still can't forget about Kate, even now Mason wants her back, being dumped by Imogen. The locals wonder about an unknown old man who started hanging around Sonya. He finally reveals being her uncle Walter Mitchell, and came to meet her son Callum and set her straight about their dysfunctional family history, but Toadie refuses to simply trust him.

Callum's mean hostility towards Bailey leads to a physical fight during which the lightweightt tipples, falls and could have drowned unless Callum dragged him out. The rascal's initial repentance at Bailey's sickbed immediately returns to aggression when asked nicely to behave mately again, for Rani's sake. Back home, bored during revalidation, Bailey's bounced ball knocks over one of mother's pictures. Changing the glass, he and Amber notice a portrait of neighbor Brad hidden at the back. Sonya's uncle Water, now the Rebecchi's guest, apparently takes to Callum, who can't be bothered to meet his great-uncle properly, and volunteers to mind him.

Paul is made to attend Terese's sexual harrassment workshop. Brad thinks that Paul is making a play for his wife. Amber attempts to covers for her Mum and also grows closer to Joshua.

Brad and Terese are forced to face the past. Georgia confronts Kate about her secret. Amber is happy after Josh kisses her.

Kate and Mason end up getting back together. Josh has to chose between Amber and his training. Lucas and Vanessa set a date to get married on.

Toadie and Sonya clash about Walter. Josh finds it hard to break up with Amber. Bailey ends up choosing Callum over Rani.

Walter manages to work his way into Toadie's house and also into Sheila's affections. Ajay and Karl fall out about the best way to increase the band's appeal.

Kate's efforts to try and sort things out between Paul and the Turners doesn't go to plan. Lucas and Vanessa face the possibility that his cancer might have come back.

Amber works out that Josh is keeping their relationship a secret;. Kate and Mason want Paul and Matt to sort out their issues. Karl feels like Ajay has betrayed him.

Kyle attempts to convince Kate to tell Mason it was Brennan that she slept with. Don warns Amber that she's a complication Josh doesn't really need in his life. Chris meet a new man, unaware it is Josh's swim team rival.

Sonya starts to believe that Walter is not who he says he is. Brad finds out that Don is dodgy and decides to watch him, Callum helps Rani and Bailey get together.

To Paul's amusement, Therese promised a magazine a wedding photo-shoot but can't get it organized properly: she even lacks a bride, so he takes over. Kyle accepted, as a favor to Georgia, who had to cancel, to play the groom, to earn the bridal suite for them, but to his horror Paul now asked Kate as bride, without telling either who their opposite would be. Ajay forces grumpy Karl to face facts after a measly performance. Bailey and Rani are happy together, but decide to spare Callum, so 'just friends'.

The wedding magazine photo-shoot is hell for 'happy couple' Kyle and Kate, who even have to kiss. Afterward, Kyle can't stop thinking of her and hardly enjoys sharing the nuptial suite with Georgia, who thinks afterwards her fitting the wedding dress 'scared him off'. Mason meanwhile treats Kate to a home version of spoiling. Rani consults Susan, frightened even to consult Karl, about the pill. Ajay gets wind of it, drags his daughter home from an innocent evening with Bailey and sort of scolds 'meddler' Susan, who actually escorted her to another doctor.

Brad discovers that coach Don Cotter is calling Josh's time better then they are, probably to keep the competitor on a different distance then Hudson. Josh won't believe his 'jealous father' until Chris tells him what he learned from lover Hudson, who know claims he was misunderstood. Josh tests the theory and realizes Brad was right, but he's stuck due to the no-escape contract clause. Ajay makes up with Susan and Rani with whom he agrees she'll seek adult advice even on female matters.

Josh is now convinced he needs to get rid of cheating coach Cotter, but although father sides with him without grudge, the contract seems airtight. Chris confronts his lover Hudson, who claims Don is like a father for him, but clearly has a medical problem and angrily turns Chris away. They meet again and Chris learns from a paramedic that his mate, who has an even worse episode, is doped. Imogen chooses this impossible time to claim her parents' neglect of her authorize spending all her savings on a car unsupervised, and returns with a cheap, shiny wreck which even Amber considered dodgy. Mason, who feels humiliated without wheels, offers her a deal: share it if he fixes it in his spare time at cost.

Hudson Walsh tells Chris he has told Don that doping is out, and dumped the long-trusted coach, but blames his boyfriend for driving him to do so and never wants to see him again. Shortly after, Hudson apologizes and announces he's moving back to his parents, but now Chris can't promise to remain supportive over the phone until Hudson regains self-control. Brad uses the illegal drug incident to force Don to release Josh from his contract, Cotter even gives up coaching altogether. Brad now must choose between an offer to manage the gym or coach Josh full-time again, and the knave assures his father to accept either decision. Walter accompanies Sonya to an AA meeting, where she introduces him most supportive, almost proudly, but Toadie catching him drinking beer again hours later.

Josh is off Cotter's hook, but also out of a coach until father decides whether to become gym manager instead, so he had time to kill with Amber. Imogen however warns her not to become big brother's playmate of the week and pushes her to meet a more available campus guy. Karl discovers that Walter stole and sold Susan's watch. Kyle seemingly fails to stop him from laving without closure for his grandma, but Sheila still gets it. Sonya is shattered when Walter admits to have stolen that identity from her real uncle, his real name is Dave. Lucas and Vanessa meanly pretend considering Lassiter's expensive wedding arrangements just to see Paul grovel, but Lucas really considers one of his last two condominiums.

Josh and Amber are kept apart by Imogen's efforts to convince each the other has another, so Josh dumps her believing to be forgotten for Clay Blair. Walter's confession to be only his late AA mate Dave shatters Sonya, who seeks an outlet by joining the gym, where Brad is trying had hand as manager. Kyle consoles his grandma, convincing Sheila she should simply continue dating again.

Mason fears his garage job is going nowhere, as Lucas barely has work for one apprentice, clearly Chris's spot. Paul has to fire his trusted, 'complcacent' hotel concierge and offers the job to Mason, promising it's a step-up to a fitting career for Kate's partner. Ajay's grandmother is dying. He wants to put Rani up with Karl while he travels to India, but she insists to join him, to boyfriend Bailey's quiet despair. Karl now enjoys band success with Georgia and agrees to perform regularly.

Paul and Mason toast on the knave's career move to hotel concierge, which his parents consider an ill-considered rash risk. More bad news for the Turners: Lucas is buying an apartment and selling the house they rent from him. Vanessa dislikes throwing them out, even more when she learns the couple considers a fourth baby, but Lucas already bought it, unable to reach her before the last one's auction, and paid more then she considers reasonable. Karl is delighted with his London ex's daughter Holly Hoyland's unilaterally imposed surprise visit, but she meanly turns on Susan when alone with her.

Finding love-sick Joshua about to injure himself in frustrated exercise, father-coach Brad encourages his boy to try winning Amber back. Alas, trying to break up her diner 'date' with Clay Blair only pushes her to accept a real one at night. When Clay wants at least a kiss, she leaves his car, afraid, and is surprised to be picked up by Robbo, who observed her secretly for days. Lucas is not amused that Vanessa wants to wriggle out of the apartment contract for the broody Turners' sake. Paul refuses to let them off the hook, but offers to buy the house fairly cheap and let the Turners see. Karl spoils bastard daughter Holly, refusing to take Susan's warnings seriously.

Chris convinces Kyle not to assume Geogia refuses to write songs about him for lack of love but just ask her, which yields her first admission of loving delighted Kyle. Wanted Robbo offered Amber a ride after she invited Clay to 'dump' her, but she refuses him too and spells out that now she knows about his old and recent criminal past, she's far from interest. Instead of telling father, who frolics unwittingly-friskily with broody mother, she turns to Mason, who arranges for other cops to arrest the fiend. However he gets his mother to send bail money and comes threaten Mason.

Kyle is sweetly supportive when Kate tells him she's late and fears to be pregnant, possibly from their 'safe' sex. He encourages her to get tested properly until she makes an appointment with doctor Karl. Mason foolishly compromises his parole by hitting Robbo for approaching Amber. The fiend realizes that Sonya is he key witness against him, so he goes ask Toadie's legal help at home and makes sure he 'accdientally' bumps in to Sinya to intimidate her by hinting at baby Nell's safety.

Karl has good news for Kyle and Kate: they're not expecting a baby, however her condition requires further medical tests, which bode problems for her. As Matt expected, Robbo has a perfect excuse to avoid prosecution for his parole-compromising visit to Sonya's home and his innuendo counts for nothing. The fiend now sets out to scare away 'rivals' Clay and Josh by dirty tricks, although she refuses a date even now he didn't file a complaint against Mason. Bailey can barely prevent hothead Callum from attacking the dangerous criminal. Holly vandalizes Susan's couch.

Karl tells Kate the tests reveal she's affected by an incurable condition causing infertility, but must respect the medical secrecy. Even Mason is left clueless, Kyle can't even tell his mate she consulted the doc. Worse, she cancels attending with him Paul's penthouse-warming. Learning this, Sheila commandeers his lift key to usher in a whole bunch, including Lucas, which Paul grimly throws out as self-invited non-guests. Vandal brat Holly's drawings suggests to Karl that has frustration concerns cruising mother Izzy, rather then host Susan.

Josh is quite hostile when he finds cheating competitor Hdson is back and looking for another coach, Brad more understanding. Chris agrees to meet Hudson, and takes Kyle's cue to risk a grand gesture, but Chris mistakes a surprise dinner for an intrusion. Mason gets back in Paul's favor by bringing Kate round to his new penthouse. Kyle and Georgia are left in the dark about her diagnosis and sent off to date, but he sends grandma, who gets the truth out of Kate. The Turners are pleasantly surprised to hear Josh gets Hudson's former sponsor, Brad works out the repenting boy even recommended his son.

Chris abundantly apologizes to Hudson for the surprise incident and stand up for him against publicly hostile Josh, who warns Lauren that Amber is seeing dodgy Robbo again. Over drinks, Huson makes up with Chris, who kisses him at the second chance dinner. Mason plans a picnic, but Kate cancels last-minute, so he grudgingly accepts to take car-partner Imogen instead. Shocked, he discovers the motor has been tampered with, apparently a attempt on his life by Robbo. Father Matt can only warn Amber, there's no evidence against Robbo, just his consistent lies as if his abusive lush father and presumed bad example were dead.

Mason risk his parole but nearly attacking 'saboteur' Robbo, but Lucas finds the explosive car motor was an accident, because apprentice Mason used the wrong material. Matt realizes the police can't act until evidence is available, but Brad suggests they must be able to act as concerned parents. When baby Nell goes missing, Sonya screams it must be kidnapped by Robbo.

Robbo remains the suspects of Nell's 'warning kidnapping' even as the baby is found nearby within minutes. He laughs at police questioning as there's no shred of evidence against him. When Robbo tries to book at Lassiter's but Paul vetoes that, he dishes up a story that Mason did the robbery with kid brother Bailey. Karl discovers that Holly's misbehavior stems from frustration that mother Izzy dumped her to cruise with new lover Neville. The brat is not only hostile to 'step mother' Susan but proves impossible to babysit even for Callum and Bailey.

Mason's stories convince Paul that Robbo is too dangerous, also for Kate, but he promises to handle the slick criminal even if the law can't, to which end he recruits cards hustler Marty Kranic, but tells nobody else. Vanessa's bumbling at work makes clear to mildly-jealous Lauren that she must be pregnant. Father Matt Turner makes clear to his boys, who want a stay put, that 'dodgy' Paul isn't acceptable as landlord, so they move if the house is sold to him by Lucas, who must pay his apartment soon.

Josh is not amused that Hudson is back and wants to rejoin competition, so he grumbles cheaters shouldn't be allowed, but reconciled Chris publicly stands up for his delighted gay mate. Beacsue of Vanessa's pregnancy, Lucas decides to sell to Paul, so the Turners are told. Kyle and Chris wonder why plumbing problems infuriate Kate excessively, Sheila demands more 'understanding'. Mason is very understanding hen finally told about Kate's infertility diagnosis, but furious when he realizes she confided in her house-mates first.

Chris is now dedicated to help Hudson to another chance to compete in swimming, but Josh remains hostile regardless of a recent clean drug test. Brad tells Chris, who asks considering coaching Hudson, that's hard to combine with his new job as gym manager and hopeless given Josh's attitude. Chris, Kyle and grandma Sheila are surprised that the plumbing gets fixed by their new landlord: Paul, who still gets anything but gratitude from Kate, for supposed meddling. The worst news is for Lucas: Paul withdraws even the meager offer to buy his house and insists on timely apartment payment.

At Chris's insistence, Brad seriously considers training Hudson, who otherwise would have to emigrate. Josh won't even discuss the idea, but is easily temped to a cocky race duel, which produces a personal best, convincing Brad it's a good deal for both rival knaves. Just now Holy bonding with Susan stems Karl hopeful to integrate her in a real family, she confides in Susan that she really wants to return to mother Izzy. Robbo promises Amber, whom he shows his provisional living quarters, to turn his life around, preferably with her, but she wants to help only with job applications.

Robbo believes he finally can get his life in order when Paul asks him to drop by to discuss a job offer, but instead he's seduced to a cards game in which he ends up with a debt forcing him to cancel Mason's and promise to leave town. The Turners can't believe she keeps sticking up for the scum after Bailey reports to his parents having seen them kiss. Karl takes Brad's advice to finally fight for Holy rather then simply hand her back to neglectful Izzy, who may not even want her back.

Mason is very grateful that Paul forced Robbo to cancel his debt and assures Kate that won't be grant Paul an improper hold. Kyle worries that Mason takes Kate's infertility too lightly, but bot assure him otherwise and she finds Kyle's support just right. Robbo pretends to chance his plea to guilty but actually tapes his hot night with grateful Amber in secret to blackmail Mason for double the already impossible amount. Missing Rani, Callum refuses his parents childish birthday party plans and is mortified when Sonya 'consoles him' publicly for not having has physical intimacy at sixteen.

Josh is shocked to hear that after father accepted to coach Hudson, mother inspired Paul to sponsor his 'cheating' rival. Mason hopes Robbo's blackmail is bluff, as Amber denies having had sex, but is shown proof and simply can't raise the demanded $10,000.

Kyle agonizes over the text for the posters he promised Georgia to make for the children's ward fund-raiser, until Sheila commandeers Kate to help him. Brad waves Josh's continuing objections against coaching Hudson. Paul is appalled when he hears nobody told him about the knave's drug past when Therese finally comes clean, but decides to maintain the hotel's sponsorship offer.

Grudgingly, Josh resigns to having to train with Hudson, Brad even tells him to cease all hostility towards his 'sparing partner'. Josh scolds Amber's affair with Robbo for lets her off easily, until Imogen, who still manages to hide her frustrated eating disorder, tells him about their last meeting, yet pretends he knew. Kyle is relieved that the benefit preparations go well. Matt sees trough it when his wife pushes Bailey, who has to portray him at school for a father-son project, to complement the cop job stuff with a picture of basketball, which both boys realize is just too clumsy.

Josh gets Amber to admit she had sex with Robbo only days ago and even lied about it, hence bitterly concludes he can't trust her again. Mason is desperate to save his sister's 'honor' by paying Robbo's blackmail, but Imogen can't buy him out as car owner short term. He searches Robbo's dwelling for evidence, in vain, and is nearly caught. Robbo got a menial job as municipal worker, but Toadie gets him fired on account of the restraining order. Despite Bailey's warning he's too much younger, Callum hopes he can interest Imogen.

Desperate failing to raise Robbo's blackmail, Mason tells Paul about his or actually unsuspecting Amber's peril and is promised help, but is told to buy time. Callum is 'treated' to an 'infantile' sixteenth birthday party against his expressed wish. the knavish 'party boy' childishly takes out on the adult guests his frustration over Imogen, whom he invited despited Bailey's wise warning, turning down last-minute. Ex-gambling-addict Lucas is desperate to pay Paul for his new apartment, so it's very tempting when a mate tells him about poker winnings at Robbo's.

Desperate to pay his apartment, ex-gambling addict Lucas can't resist a mate's invitation to join an apparently lucrative poker gang. Lucas hesitates when he finds Robbo is the host, but perseveres, wins big and walks away. Chris and Hudson are now happy together. Matt cheerfully agrees when Bailey asks to enter in the school benefit exhibition mother's picture of their former country home. Neither realizes the frame also contains her sketch of ex Brad.

Chris delights Kyle's gang by showing Karla and notably Georgia's performance, posted on Internet, is an instant hit. Paul offers her a regular contract, but only solo, without old doc. Mason desperately begs him to speed-up the plan to get rid of Robbo. Brad is amused to see Lauren's desperate efforts to recuperate the sketch, even more and flattered when he works out it's on account of his portrait, which Matt wasn't told about.

Sensitive Chris somewhat appeases Kate, who made an absurd scene at Vanessa's baby-shower. She wines she can't stop thinking about her infertility and Mason, however sweetly caring, should understand her 'like Chris'. Georgia tells Paul she won't sign a contract without Karl, but old doc tells her to reconsider for a shot at a solo career, he can resume The Right Prescription when Ajay returns from India.

Josh's hostility during training seems only to get worse, so Hudson tells saddened Brad he's going to find another coach. A father-son-talk makes Josh reconsider his attitude, mainly for Brad's sake. Bailey admits to Sheila that he pretended to be her on social media to pretend she's in grandpa Lou, who returns from Cambodia. Lucas can't resist more poker at Robbo's table.

After the first raging success, Josh presides over a second treasure hunt. Hudson decides to ditch a training session to partake with Chris. Josh's painful bruises force him to tell Amber he fought with Robbo over her video. Mason still hides the truth for father Matt, who kept back some e-mails. After Mason finds out that mother contacted Robbo, they come clean to Matt, and when Bailey semi-accidentally helps her work out Mason took Robbo's computer, they come clean to Matt and bring everything to her police.

After conversations with Paul suggest that Kate avoids him and wants no reconciliation, Mason fears his love and job are as good as lost. Kyle however advises him to fight for love against all odds, as that paid off for him. Lucas is desperate, sponsor Sonya refuses to help the relapsed gambling addict and he finds out Vanessa, who mentioned postponing their wedding, is meeting her first love, Alex Pocoli, who actually came to tell her their short-lived marriage was never annulled and he wants her back. Just when Paul is about to snap up below asking price Lucas's house at auction, Vanessa arrives to stop him.

Hudson fakes illness to leave a hotel gala event where sponsor Paul expected to show him off, so he can partake in Josh and Jack's second treasure hunt. Despite dirty tricks from Sheila, it's won by a shopkeeper. Off-track however, Brad finds a cellphone and brings it to the police, ignoring it's evidence which Mason's gang desperately tried to dispose of. To Lucas's startled delight, Vanessa didn't turn to Alec Pocoli but accepted a small fortune for a divorce without claim to his business empire, enough to cancel the sale of Lucas's house, so the Turners don't have to move out, and the wedding is back on.

Matt dutifully gave the cellphone to the detectives, who now know about Amber's sex episode recording and after she admits who knew about it grill the youths, who panic, cry or scream, but are now all serious suspects. Paul gets Georgia to sign a stringent singing contract, against Toadie's warning and Karl's fear she's running from nursing, which suddenly reemerges when she witnesses Jack Lassiter's sudden, fatal cardiac episode.

Initially startled, Chris helps Hudson celebrate his decision to give u competitive swimming. This spoils common coach Brad's joy over Josh's state team qualification, but he can't even get Hudson to think it over a bit longer. Mason hears that only Josh wasn't questioned by the police and starts a series of mutual sneers and suspicions. After commendations that her fast action probably saved Jack Lassiter's life, Georgia wants to resume nursing, but Paul holds her to the airtight singing contract. Therese remembers having seen Marty at Paul's client poker at home and insists to infirm the police.

Hudson refuses to reconsider while Brad feels he failed as coach. When Jack's credit card is refused, Therese moves him to a cheaper room. Paul learns he gave his fortune away after hearing he has terminal cancer, refuses to 'learn people matter, not money' but still sell his sports-car to pay for the ongoing treasure hunt price and the room. Marty Kranic accepted Paul's cash to 'disappear until another suspect is convicted' but turns himself in to police detective Oakley, claiming he left Robbo healthy but noticed a drunk, fitting Toadie's profile.

Marty's testimony makes Toadie the prime suspect. He still insists that Lucas and Vanessa's engagement party must go on and accepts to be best man. Josh decides to tell the police about his nocturnal fight, but Amber convinces him to wait until morning. Despite Bailey's help, Callum fails to make up with school girl friend Josie Lamb, but the real problem comes to light only now: she's the daughter of investigating police detective Crabb. Matt scolds his kids for failing to confide in him and helps the detectives reexamine all the evidence and consider the kids' possible parts in the fatal night.

The police interrupts Lucas's party to arrest the ultimate suspect of Robbo's death. Flashbacks show every suspect's actual part in the fatal events and cover-ups. Fellow ex-addict Marty beat him up to return Lucas's cash, Mason's gang only tried to save Amber, Toadie was too drunk to do anything. To Chris's horror, his boyfriend Hudson confesses, albeit without intent, having driven the car Mason lend her when Robbo surprised him.

Last part of the reconstruction, Brad found out about Hudson's fake alibi, provided by Don, and informed the police. Hudson forgives him, even apologizes, but refuses to see Chris, who still consults Taodie about his boyfriend's bleak prospects. Meanwhile the parents acts is if they were all blameless, conspiring to come down hard on Mason -fearing for his parole-, Josh and their siblings, who obviously only tried to help Amber, like the gay duo. Paul tries to play down the hotel's sponsorship deal with Hudson.

Jos grudgingly settles in the unfair ban to see Amber for a while. It may be prolonged, as Susan reports his grades are slipping seriously, which requires measures or he may have to redo the term. Matt is fed up with being ignored by his family when they need help, Mason with being blamed without hesitation. Sheila is in on the war path when Karl's animals get into Kyle's garden.

To Josh's horror, he's stuck with massive tutoring just now he must train more then ever, Brad fails to stick up for him as coach. Kyle tries to convince Paulto cut Georgia some slack to combine her nursing job with the musical career he manages, but the response is more then she wants: no record contract but having her material covered by a full-time singer. Karl accuses Sheila of letting his animals loose, but it was Susan. After Lucas and Vanessa, who greatly enjoyed an countryside holiday, get generous offers on both his garage and the apartment, they seriously consider raising their kids in the country.

Chris is heart-broken now Hudson won't see him, yet gets Toadie to look into his lover's bleak court prospects. Another blow for Chris is that Lucas decides with Vanessa to move to the country, so he sells both apartment and garage. Chris's new boss Danni Ferguson gets a terrible first impression of him. Kyle and Georgia are startled when Paul presents Australian Idol singer Amali Ward, who is to record her songs.

Despite house-mate Kyle's devoted help and intercession, Chris, inconsolable about the loss of gay soul-mate Hudson, can't concentrate on the job nor arrive on time and gets an official warning from heartless new boss Danni, only steps away from dismissal as mechanic. Mason refuses to let Imogen sell their 'cursed' car, so he coaxes her with a marking of the absurd Potter-nickname Hermione she gave it. Alas that also means bailing on the fishing trip with Matt, who hoped it would help them bond again. Kate returns, but tells Mason it's completely over.

Kyle finds Chris fainted in the garden, reacting badly as sleepwalker to the sleeping pills Karl prescribed reluctantly, yet he can't resist taking another. Angry over being dumped, Mason can barely remain polite to hotel guests, except one with whom he flirts against policy, but Kate prevents Paul coming down hard on her ex. Paul assures Amali that Georgia is completely out of the picture, which she can't stomach in the case of the song she wrote for and about Kyle.

Josh and Amber's plan to meet in secret by sending both parents couples on dinners fails as he dozes off, but they sneak into the empty Kapoor home, only to be caught cuddling after Susan betrays he's not in English tutoring anymore. After Mason complains to Matt about being judged harsher then his junior siblings, they bond over fishing after all. Baily helps mother research Lou's family tree as birthday gift, but she spills the beans, even about the surprise party. Ajay had to prolong his stay in India as his grandma died, buts ends Rani back. Toadie realizes their client list is down dangerously an resolves to fix that by Ajay's return.

After Josh and Amber are caught cuddling in the Kapoor home, they stand up for their romantic commitment and Brad and Lauren agree to commute their ban into extra chores and tutoring. Matt and Therese feel ignored and get their spouses to cave in, the original punitive regime stands. Ajay dissolves his law partnership with Toadie, having accepted a job in London. Rani is to follow later. When she finally tells Bailey, he sets all his hopes on Paul's generous scholarship foundation.

Told that he needs to prioritize, Josh turns the table by telling he's postponing school altogether to pursue his athletic dream to the fullest. Brad and Susan agree, Therese has to back down after an attempt to manipulate Josh trough Amber backfires. Chris simply can't cope any longer, spy cameras installed by the new owners worsen his panic. Passing driver Derek Blasko's offer to help is hastily evaded by Sheila at night when she runs after Chris, who sleepwalks having taken another sleeping pill.

Constable Matt helps Sheila bring unsuspecting sleepwalker Chris safely home, explaining he had experience with Bailey. Karl insists on referral to a therapist. Although Kyle doesn't mind, Georgia confronts Amali with the fact she wrote the song for him and gets the rights signed back, to found-out Paul's costly frustration. Paul is impressed by Bailey's application for his first scholarship and enjoys not helping Matt to keep his boy home, but Rani must admit that, as Callum suggested, she fell in love in India and doesn't want Bailey in London with her, preferring a 'new adventure'.

Chris notices Sheila's off behavior but believes the bar-experienced battle-ax's pose that she's though enough to cope. Lou fears he'll die shortly after his sixtieth birthday, like several ancestors, so he turns down a party. Sonya convinces him to choose for life, so he goes bug Kar for elaborate, pointless tests, which cheer him up, but then chance kicks in cruelly. Dumped by Rani, Bailey lost interest in the scholarship. He attempts making up with shot Messenger Callum, but Josie convinced him to accept nothing less then abject begging, as if he treated the rascal as his sidekick.

Josh and Amber sneak off Lou's birthday party to cuddle before his sports-only sabbatical and her new school year start, Mason enjoys meeting surprise guest Lolly and her theory that Kate wouldn't defend him to Paul unless still romantically interested. Party boy Lou, whom Karl could barely convince to attend after a near-fatal tree branch drop, realizes when presented his family tree that his age was falsified years ago to avoid conscription, so he already disproved the fatal sixty Carpenter men curse. A hospital charity event enables Georgia to perform her song for Kyle publicly in producer Bryan Robson's presence and scare Paul out of forbidding her to donate the proceeds.

Kyle accidentally spills coffee on newcomer Gemma Reeves and treats her to a better cup and his shirt, only to be rudely scolded as if a predator before they find out not being just strangers. Matt demands a parents meeting to coordinate resistance against teenager kids Josh and Amber 'going further', scared by her mishap with Johnno, but nobody else can seriously compare gentle Josh to such a fiend, so Josh gets off with a clearly hardly heartfelt paternal lecture. Paul has a subpoena for breech of contract drawn up by Tim and served to Georgia, but cancels it after hearing Jack Lassiter died, leaving not behind and alone.

Kyle is not amused to find out that Gemma is Georgia's favorite relative, an unemployed teacher, and pretended to him to be fictitious cool cosmopolitan adventurer Ursula, yet agrees to keep her secret. Kate and Georgia recommend her to Susan who has a sudden vacancy for science teacher. Paul still searches a pretext to fire Mason, but the hotel guest he 'seduced' testifies he was a helpful gentleman.

Chris is delighted to hear he finally gets permission to see incarcerated Hudson again. Bailey's initial relief that Callum finally makes up, albeit with a poor apology, soon turns sour, suspecting it's only for a joint school science assignment, and decides to do it alone. Susan hires Gemma, despite her previous headmaster's evasive attitude, ignoring that she's hiding grave allegations. Sheila is arrested for molesting the camera of Stavros Alkinos, whom she wrongly accused of stalking.

Chris is depressed when he hears his testimony isn't expected for Hudson's character defense. Chris finds another handsome swimmer, Manuel Juarez, to frolic in the hot-tub, and firmly rebukes hypocrite Kate's 'warning' against an 'atypical' one-night-stand, reminding her how shamelessly she cheated on Mason and Jade with Kyle, both in steady relationships. Gym customer Eric Edwards hurts his back on a malfunctioning fitness machine, the notice Brad hung on it having been removed. Josh shows no interest in Amber's vague yapping about school and career options. Cued by Brad, he still 'makes up' by arranging an internship at the hotel trough his mother and gets back on kissing terms.

Chris enjoyed a hot night with swimmer Manuel Juárez, whose name he didn't even ask, and moves on to Michael, desperate to forget about loosing Hudson. Kyle rebukes him for scaring off a client after Manuel claims in public to be straight. Josh and Amber rebuke their meddling mothers during preparations for Amber's internship at the hotel.

Josh is as startled as their parents to hear that while he believed Amber ready for the next physical step, she wants to wait months longer. Yet he even shows understanding for overprotective Matt's 'intimidating' uniformed tirade and soon kisses up with Amber. Kyle and Kate realize that Gemma is playing them, but she already spilled the beans to unamused Georgia. Brad gets Matt to admit it's out of their hands now Josh has used the l-word. Karl is bored and decides to jog with Brad and Matt as training for the hospital's charity run, but strains his ankle while cheating.

Kyle and Kate are appalled that Gemma shamelessly 'betrayed' them to Georgia to avoid her fair tar of the same brush, yet he keeps quiet and she only vaguely hints to Susan. Brad faces a hefty claims from injured gym client Eric Edwards, who hired Toadie. On her first day as his paralegal intern, Imogen perverts legal ethics by copying documents for her father, the opposite party. Unprepared Gemma builds up an intimidating regime in class, where brilliant Bailey is absurdly graded less then near-clueless Callum for the science assignment.

Paul finally wants his criminal record erased, found a sanity loophole and orders Mason to move his private files to lawyer Tim Collins. Matt mistrusts it and wants to peek at the appears, Mason just hopes to save his hotel job. Seeing even clueless Callum was graded higher, Bailey plans to report Gemma's incompetence to Susan, but hearing her scolded for 'rewarding the class' by playing Georgia's video, decides against it. Brad warns Imogen not to compromise her future to help him with Eric Edwards's back injury damage claim, but she finds out he may well have been injured skiing.

At the day of Hudson's involuntary homicide trial, Chris decides against attending and still seeks short-term distraction with gay gays. After the four years sentence, Chris hesitates to open a letter from Hudson delivered by Josh, despite firm pushing from Sheila for closure. Matt hoped to sabotage Paul's criminal record expurgation plans by flying in Rhiannon as witness in the municipal councilor bribery attempt, but Paul accepts to hire her instead. Fraudulent gym injury plaintiff Eric Edwards withdraws his claim against Brad, but Imogen, who illegally copied his file, is duly fired as Toadie's legal intern.

Chris still refuses to read Hudson's letter, however hard Sheila pushes for closure. Frustratated, he rather cruelly turns away gay date Miguel Fererer, whose scorned love bitterly transforms into vandalism of clients' cars. Mason and his family are shocked to hear that his bad news ex Rhiannon accepted a job from Paul and moves to Erinsborough, unsuspecting Karl offers to help her look for a home.

Kyle commiserates when he hears the garage boss gave Chris a second-of-three warning for not reporting lover Miguel as vandalism suspect and worries as the lovesick knave still refuses to cut down on flings. Maso is more amused then sympathetic to see haughty Imogen reduced to his mother's shop assistant. Getting more sympathy from Gemma then Callum over ex Rani's Internet-posted new London boyfriend. So he takes her side when Callum's girl Josie feels discriminated in class, as girl and wiseacre. Kate starts realizing Gemma is a manipulative liar, but Susan nor Georgia believe her.

Matt is pleased to find his former country home's missing drawing in a second hand shop, but pales when Sheila points out Brad's picture at the back. Kyle can hardly cope any more with Kate and Gemam's scheming behind Georgia's back. Lauren and Therese get dangerously jealous of each-other as their respective daughters seem to admire only th other, as mentor, so the men recruit 'bribed' siblings to help boost maternal moral.

Karl can't explain to Susan how Rhiannon managed to invite herself to stay with them for free, indefinitely, and turn their home into a pigsty, with angelic son Jackson, who sweetly volunteers domestic chores. Imogen can't convince Amber that she isn't even secretly interested in studly men, like plumber Phil North. In fact she dreams of Mason, but is appalled to see Rhiannon's familiar air with him. Matt angrily confronts Brad and Laurel with the portrait of his former rival framed with their country home drawing.

Crude Rhiannaon drives everyone crazy. Mason saves her bacon after she grossly insults rightly displeased regular guest Robert Hayes demanding the classy hotel's customary service from the lazy, incompetent maid. Hearing she'll never make it to reception without proper mastery of English, she asks Susan to teach her, while continuing to commandeer assistance with Jackson, without doing her domestic part.

When Karl and Susan find Jackson missing, Bailey mobilizes the whole neighborhood to look for the boy. Only Chris must decline, duly fearing for his job, but spots the runaway in Kyle's yard, calms and returns him. Although his neighbors' hero, he's deemed AWOL by his tyrant boss, grounds for dismissal. The press twisted an interview with Josh so as to focus not on his Olympic bid but on Chris's frustration over Hudson's fate. Josh goes explain and apologize to Chris, who explodes and decks him. Meeting falls gym damages claimant Eric's now homeless family, Sonya twists Toadie's arm to help them with medical expenses.

Chris burns Hudson's letter. Finding his son's jaw so badly hurt that he can't train for at least a week, Brad has Chris questioned by Matt, who has to arrest him after a spontaneous confession without excuse. Kyle is delighted when Georgia asks him to move in at the house she and Gemma plan to rent, but the jealous cousin secretly cancels it. Finding out Eric Edwards still didn't tell him the truth about his actually drunk ski accident, Toadie refuses to sue the ski instructor.

Seeing Ajay's house is still for rent, Kyle realizes Gemma lied as Kate suggested and tells Georgia, who gets a 'panic' confession. Toadie grudgingly allows Sionya to attempt mediation by inviting to Edwards couple to a vegetarian dinner. It sees both couples fight among themselves, yet brings Eric to his senses, so all lawsuits are abandoned. At school, only Imogen volunteers as class candidate for school captain, which Josh assures Amber she's likely to get whatever it takes, but Gemma encourages Amber to stand against her friend instead of being commandeered as campaign assistant.

The Mason kids notice grim tension between their parents, finds the sketch of young Brad, guess it stirred marital trouble bad enough to land Matt in the guest room and 'trick' them to a romantic dinner. Matt is ready to make up, but Laurel dares blame him for lack of unconditional trust. After speeching in class and consulting the home fronts, Amber, coached brilliantly by Bailey, and Imogen realize the school election isn't worth their friendship. Imogen offers to withdraw, but Amber calls her assumption of sure success arrogant and insist on a vote. Bailey dreams of a cultural exchange to China and jumps at Gemma's offer to tutor him in two scientific courses, but he thus notices that she is tampering with the ballot papers.

Mason does a great job as Jackson's substitute father, enjoyed by both boys and Rhiannon, but Karl, finding he spent the night with Rhiannon, warns him to pace it. Josh is not amused that Amber and Imogen each reproach him not to side against her electoral rival. During his science tutoring, Bailey discovers Gemma's fake ballot papers in Amber's favor and forces her to dispose of them, after which Imogen wins by a single vote.

After Josh is diagnosed healed enough to resume swim practice, Matt inquires whether the complaint against Chris can be dropped. Brad refuses, but after a plea from Kate, Josh gets him to agree to accept an apology instead. Chris refuses, although it's the only hope to save his job, so Sheila forces him to go along on a mystery 'last hope' trip with Kate. Although a street cricket episode completes Jackson's adoration for Mason, fears with him and Rhiannon how to handle their relationship make them draw back. Paul surprises Karl pleasantly and infuriates Therese by offering a generous donation to the hospital while refusing to 'invest' in the linen she proposes.

Surprised that Hudson agreed to a jail visit, Chris goes, is relieved he's still loved and not blamed, yet shattered when Hudson concludes they must break up as Chris shouldn't wait for him. Kyle is touched when Sheila offers him grandmother's wedding ring, yet warns it's far too soon to propose to Georgia and hides it for his lover, but dog Bossy stuffs it into the couch. Paul gets Therese to sign, within hours, a contract as general manager of Lassiter's group, just before imposing a parking fee which stirs a huge protest from Charlie's and Harold's stakeholders.

Inspired by Karl's claim leaving his true love was the worst decision of a lifetime, trying to get Susan back his best, Chris returns to prison and convinces Hudson they should at least give love behind bars a try. Paul enjoys telling Therese are only options are braving public protest against the parking fees or be fired for not meeting contractual targets. At the hospital fun run, Brad wins, but Matt is the hero, having had to stop exhausted but being just on cue to spot Josie's idiotic overexerted collapse so she can be hospitalized in time.

After declaring Brad the winner, who celebrates dancing, Paul announces his mayoral candidacy. Matt is desperate to find an alternative, integer candidate, but Karl and Toadie decline, feeling it's too hard to combine with demanding jobs and intentions to spend more time at home. Hearing Paul coaxing a reporter, Karl can't resist presenting himself as electoral opponent. Diagnoses famished by Karl, Josie admits to her clueless lesbian 'parents' she disposed of lunch for weeks.

Eager to earn extra cash, Rhiannon accepts filling in without someone to mind Jackson, so she takes him along. Mason explains its' not possible to keep a kid in the hotel, but is ignored and floor management finds out. Mason bitterly resents all but supportive Matt's lecture about excessive commitment, stating he just can't win with his father. Karl's mayoral ambition, running against ruthless Paul, seems ridiculously naive to Susan, but when he sticks to it she pledges full supports.

Kyle dares not tells Sheila that he lost her heirloom engagement ring, and rather strips then owe up. Clueless Kate found and shows it with canine culprit Bossy. Chris is himself again. Matt is indignant when Rhiannonassumes that he reported Jackson neglected to social services, Mason works out it was two-faced hotel supervisor Veronica. The official is convinced by Jackson's claim that he and his ma can rely on 'steady friend' Mason, whom Karl tries to teach the burdens of a paternal role.

Kyle gets the ring back but swears Sheila and Kate to secrecy, unsure when he might propose to Georgia. Hearing she finally enrolled for an overseas emergency assistance course, he decides to wait, but clues from mates soon make Georgia propose to him. Bailey is delighted that Josie's collapse frees her China exchange program spot financed by Paul's grant, which Gemma promises to get for him. Josh is not amused when Sheila recruits 'his' Amber as miss-bikini-clad 'parking meter girl'.

Toadie throws an engagement party for Kate and Kyle but Gemma manages to take the attention away from them.Terese enlists Amber's help with a wedding emergency at Lassiters but lands herself in hot water with Paul.

Josh tries to ignore Amber's mean accusations as if he's self-absorbed and not supportive, gets no maternal advice and is dumped while she follows Therese's unqualified advice to study photography. Therese focuses only on a plan to charge Paul exorbitant, barely penthouse-related expenses so she can cancel the paid parking and sabotage his mayoral campaign. Bailey sweetly brings gamma chocolates as get better present. Warned about appearances by Susan, she suddenly withdraws her firm promise to support his candidature for the China exchange trip. Toadie is convinced she's malingering, but Karl can't help him prove so.

Kyle's engagement is widely greeted with joy, but he and Georgia decide against a formal party, to save money for the wedding, which she starts planning elaborately with Kate, and honeymoon. Sheila however decides to organize an engagement party anyway, to reunite the family, but remains an outcast among declining Cannings on account of a single dispute with offspring. Gemma promises Chris, whom Sheila asked to collect addresses, to contact all Canning clan members, but doesn't. Bailey accepts Gemma's failure to support his bid for the China exchange as she offers to date him, behind Susan's back. Imogen is late and objects to due detention as preparing the school dance is no excuse, then complains to Susan about 'discrimination of girls', but has no proof, so Gemma only gets a formal notice.

Coached by Brad in dealing with female games, Josh overcomes Amber's insecure hostility by offering full VIP treatment at the school dance. After Imogen reports having seen Bailey at the lake in the park with Gemma, both deny even meeting, but Susan is forced to forbid further contact, including tutoring. Gemma reads her confidential file and blackmails her with the bulimia secret, but Sonya convinces her to simply come clean at school herself. Sleepless Laurel dares not tell Matt she keeps dreaming of dancing with Brad, and now the nightmare expands.

Brad volunteers himself and Laurel as chaperons for the school dance. The eating disorder girls plan to give it as miss, fearing to be ridiculed as freaks, but Imogen can't resists playing the heroic role model and drags Josie along, then gets a grand entry at Mason's arm. Susan rebukes Karl for 'campaiging' to guests and faces a dilemma when Paul offers to finance the school radio for another year. Amber is delighted to be asked as 'official' photographer, so Josh assumes she won't mind if he's late to give a last minute interview as his sponsor's request. Callum kisses Josie.

Mason isn't enthusiastic when Rhiannon expects to move to a house with his name on the documents, but can't say no to elated Jackson. Josh isn't inclined to honor Amber's jealous act on account of a mere interview, but is told to consider if such a fickle girlfriend isn't an excessive strain on the athletic career which he interrupts school for. Karl has to accept that Susan takes Paul's donation, albeit on mitigating terms, but finds another campaign theme: child day care.

Chris warns Kyle that Kate isn't comfortable as his bride's maid, even gets her to admit she's still in love with Kyle, hence moves to Paul's for a while. After Mason hears that Rhiannon turned down a promotion at a Darwin sister hotel in order to have him move in with her and Jackson and Ajay approved them as tenants, Mason tells her he can't go trough with it as he never actually loved her. Karl hastily present his day care priority program on school radio, but after a call about the venue Paul, the next guest, manages to present it as sacrificing the senior citizens' and other interests as it requires most of the present cultural center's accommodation.

Kyle is just startled when Chris tells him and Georgia that Kate moved to Paul's 'to help him campaign', but when Gem hears that, she declares war on Kate and gets Bailey to hack her e-mail, which carries proof of her secret love for Kyle. Mason tells shocked Jackson that he can't move along to Darwin, yet promises to keep contact by phone.

Now Kyle and Georgia are engaged, he found the perfect gift: getting Ajay to rent them his home. They are called away from 'christening the bed' for a surprise party thrown by Chris and Sheila, albeit with few country kin. Gemma coldly keeps Bailey at arms length and decides to carry out her sabotage plan by planting Kate's hacked e-mail to Kyle about their night in a pile of virtual congratulations.

Kyle admits to Georgia that Kate seduced him one night, long before their engagement during a breakup, but is told the secrecy is unforgivable. Kate's insensitive claim they can still fix it only embitters Georgia against Kyle and him against Kate, whom Paul gladly takes in. Mason scolds her infidelity as his lover then and bitterly questions Kyle. Chris can't deny to Sheila he knew soon. Gemma viciously pleads with Georgia against any further contact until Toadie drags her away. Bailey wants to come clean, but Gemma blackmails him to silence, threatening to see him arrested for hacking and stalking her.

Josh's swimming times worry Brad, Amber further upsets him by petty jealousy about a clearly insignificant meeting with newspaper reporter Ruby Knox, who gets they're broken up and seduces Josh until they kiss. Mason gets Kate to assure him she regrets treating him so badly and hopes to rebuild their friendship. Kyle refuses to give up Georgia, whom Karl helps deal with nurses looking down upon her after a second failed engagement, and against Chris's advice attends her latest performance, causing her to run off.

Paul's idea to convert the men shed into day care instead of part of the community center clears the pubic protest. Only his contractor is suspected of dirty practices, but he can deal with that. Bailey is caught, unable to disclose Gemma's scheming as she threatens to blame him alone for the hacking of Kate's account which she seduced him to, and he dares tell no-one. Chris ponders whether to tell Georgia he knew about Kyle and Kate's night.

After switching contractor, Paulis cocksure to win the mayoral election. Karl is desperate for support, but even Susan may have to back down, as she senses an MS relapse. Unwilling to give her coordinates on Internet, Sonya proposes to meet 'Sleeples', her devoted blog reader, for parenting advice and thus discovers it's no first-time mother but young widower Jacob Holmes. Toadie fears she's not qualified to help him and his baby Elliott but she refuses to let them down 'for now'. Matt is found taking dancing classes, to replace Brad as his wife's literal dream partner.

Chris is desperate to help Kyle patch up with Georgia, but his confession to have known about his mate's one night stand with Kate only makes her turn on him and plan to move out. Terrorized by Gemma's blackmail, Bailey gets his first-ever detention for lip to Kate after failing to turn in homework. Tipped off by Amber, also about the illicit romance, Mason inquires, but Bailey dares not even confide in big brother, the self-confessed former knavery king. Susan hides her MS relapse for campaign-obsessed Karlwhile getting tested by his hospital colleague.

Mason gets Bailey to tell him about Gemma's multiple betrayal, consults Imogen to kid brother's dismay and convinces him to react bravely, also for others concerned. An attempt to record a confession fails as Gemma sees trough it, so when Susan is informed, she must call in the police and the Turner parents, waiting for an official procedure, but suspends Gemma. Chris commiserates with dumped Kyle and walks moved-out Kate to school. Kyle tries to make up with Georgia, who lets him in only to throw him out as soon as he admits having seen Kate, again under schemer Gemma's hostile influence.

Kyle hopes to make up with Georgia by giving her a guitar at her performance on Paul's campaign rally, but she sees him with Kate, runs off and accepts Gemma's invitation to leave town together. Mason isn't daunted when Imogen dismisses his Christmas decoration their car as hideous commercial nonsense, and impresses her by inviting her to help wrapping his family's gifts for poor kids. Paul manages to send Karl on a wild goose chase and announces publicly that his opponent needs to spend time on MS-relapsed Susan.

Karl decides to drop out of the mayoral race because of Susan's relapse but she finds the outcome unsatisfying. Amber finds out Josh kissed Ruby and Terese tires of Paul undermining her.

Lucy tries to sort out the antagonism between Paul and Terese, Toadie worries Sonya is getting in to deep with Jacob and Elliot, and Amber is unhappy about Josh spending time with Ruby.

To the Turners' due relief, Bailey is officially off the hook as Kate files no complaint against him. Josh and Amber are back on kissing terms, so he attends the Turner Christmas barbecue, where Mason gets Imogen to admit the tacky stuff she claims to loath is enjoyable, at least with him. Sonya fears Jacob may not return to recuperate baby Elliot. Gemma expects the police is after her and attempts to get out of reach with Georgia, who soon gets homesick and finds out she's being played, but gets knocked out in a struggle. Hearing about it from Chris and Kate, Kyle sets off with her to find and rescue his ex-fiancée.

As Gary begins another life on the run, Naomi dreads coming home to face Sheila after their big fight. However, Naomi’s world is turned upside down when she discovers Sheila collapsed on the floor. Sheila gets whisked away to hospital where Karl confirms she’s suffered a severe heart attack and may not make it through the night. Kyle and Naomi are eventually joined at the hospital by Gary.

Despite a furious Naomi insisting Kyle did the wrong thing by calling the police on Gary, believing they should have handled it as a family and let Gary have an opportunity to come clean, Kyle maintains his position. He believes his father needs to be held accountable for his actions. To Kyle’s surprise, Gary returns to the hospital and even when he discovers the police have been informed.

Back from Queensland, a downcast Daniel tells Imogen he’s still feeling bad about the break-up with Amber but has been helped by the support of his uncle. Imogen reluctantly reveals Paul’s involvement in paying Gary Canning to do his dirty work and Daniel grapples with his uncle’s low behaviour. Later, Josh and Imogen cross with Amber, and Imogen frets over Amber’s coolness.

Matt and Lauren are alarmed when Bailey receives a letter in relation to the Turner Family Trust, the entity which now owns the house. They manage to cover, but later learn that Amber and Mason have also mistakenly been sent letters, too, despite Kathy being listed as the only person to receive correspondence.

Matt tries to convince Lauren of his reasons for wanting to buy the house from the kids. He can’t stand the thought of being a tenant to his own children, believing it’s the parents’ job to provide shelter for the family, not the other way around. But Lauren can’t understand why he’d want to commit to a huge mortgage in order to own the house they’re already living in rent-free.

Georgia is put in an unenviable position when Gary asks her to convince Kyle to visit him before he’s taken to jail. But Kyle is still too angry at his father and refuses. Sheila, however, can’t let Gary go away without seeing him one last time, and she asks for Kyle’s permission to do just that. During her visit, it’s clear that Sheila still holds a lot of pain over Gary’s actions.

After her bag’s snatched, Sonya goes to hospital to be looked over. However, it’s her heart that has suffered the most damage as she reveals Erin’s betrayal – she’s off the wagon and Sonya’s devastated. Later, Erin confesses she was tempted but didn’t go through with it – she’s still sober. She wants to do things differently this time and make amends with her daughter.

Sonya tries to paint a positive picture of Erin’s recovery to Toadie but he’s not buying, especially when Susan arrives to inform them of Erin’s late night visit. Sonya’s apologetic, and assures Susan she’ll talk to Erin about it. Toadie accompanies her and doesn’t beat about the bush, requesting Erin not inconvenience the neighbours. Erin reacts badly, and promptly marches to the hospital.

When Amber expresses interest in attending another of Daniel’s drop-in events, he gets Imogen to help him hastily pull one together for that evening. Lauren witnesses longing looks from both Daniel and Joshua towards Amber and raises the possibility that both of them are hoping for more from her than friendship. Resolved to spend some time getting to know herself, Amber reassures Lauren.

Having heard from Josh that Imogen is secretly in love with him, Daniel asks her if it’s true. But a mortified Imogen denies the charge, reassuring Daniel that Josh said it just to stir the pot. Feeling betrayed and humiliated, Imogen rips into Josh – she can’t believe he’d embarrass her like that. Josh feels terrible, insisting it was just a slip in the heat of the moment.

Sonya has good news: Erin’s daughter Cat wants to set up another meeting. Erin’s nervous, but with Sonya’s support, agrees to do it. When Cat turns up early on her BMX, Toadie’s the first one to encounter her. Immediately feeling an instinctive need to reach out to her, they chat about BMX, finding a tentative bond despite Cat’s determination to keep her distance.

Sonya’s wracked with guilt over the tension between Cat and Erin, but Toadie insists she’s not to blame. When Erin later demands that Toadie give her Cat’s address, he reminds her that direct access to Cat wasn’t part of the deal. Frustrated, Erin lashes out, accusing the Rebecchis of sabotaging her relationship with her daughter. Stressed and anxious, Erin turns up at Karl’s office.

Naomi prepares a press conference to launch the Erinsborough Festival with the help of Kyle, Brennan and Bailey. Meanwhile, Paul is approached by Dennis Dimato, a businessman who has recently inherited some properties in the area. He reveals to Paul that he wants to meet the main business people in Erinsborough and, sensing an opportunity, Paul suggests he will sponsor the festival.

Chris is surprised when Lucy decides not to delay while they wait out the IVF quarantine, and instead try self-insemination. And Lucy’s thrown when she discovers Chris hasn’t told his parents, privately pondering his level of commitment. Chris faces the music and talks to his parents, who give him their blessing, but he still harbours concerns about the rushed timeline.

Josh drops off Imogen’s phone before going to community service, but she guesses it’s just an excuse to see Amber. Paige warns him to respect Amber’s need for time on her own but it’s clear he’s pining. After finding some film during a clean up, Josh gets an idea of how to win her favour and suggests she process the film. Amber is wary of his intentions but accepts the gift.
