Yes, it is a re-cut version. Some mod however unfortunately understood this report completely wrong way and without doing any research removed completely fine entry for a movie. It's just saddening.

If the movie version was released before the miniseries, then according to our rules only the movie can be added and the miniseries is considered a duplicate. I have asked other mods about this particular case, where there was a substantial expansion in the miniseries and it seems that it would be possible to exceptionally keep both versions. As a general rule, however, we don't want duplicate content here.
