Yeah, I don't think they played this in the States but hopefully, it doesn't get struck down. You say I can watch it on Roku as well? Please let me know how. Is it a particular channel I need to purchase?

If you have a Roku device there is an actual free "Roku Channel" that comes with it. You can also stream the Roku Channel on other devices. I stream it on my Samsung smart TV without a Roku device connected to it.

Also, it did air in the US. I have always remembered watching when I was very young in the early 70's. I believe it was on WOR channel 9 in New York City.

And it was on KCBS (with was called KNXT at the time), channel 2 in Los Angeles. I really loved this show, especially since I had a huge crush on Commander Stryker.

This show's visual effects, IMHO, are very good for a 1970's tv series.

Pretty sure it was syndicated to independent stations in the US.
