You're missing the point. Even if time travel is 99.99999999% impossible, it's still more likely than something that is 99.99999999000001% impossible such as the transporter as CLAIMED in the show. Versus what actually HAPPENED in the show where it created duplicate Kirk and duplicate Riker, something that could not happen if it was actually transporting the individual's matter and their personality etc.
Oh, and you know what their transporter did, in TOS as well as DS9? Transported BACK IN TIME!!! For Gary Seven, and for Dax, Bashir, Sisko, O'Brien, and Kira from DS9.
What do they say IN THE SHOWS about the transporter? That it converts you into a data stream. Well guess what, once you're a data stream, you're not matter any more. And that means you're not YOU any more.
Get serious. Next you'll be claiming that WonkaVision could work.
