Barry returns from dropping Carmel at the airport alone to find a ringing phone with his furious daughter Maxine on the other end, demanding that he meets her that afternoon. Barry admits to Morris his inability to tell Carmel about the intended divorce.
When Barry is tasked with looking after Daniel, the two men of different generations must learn to relate to one another, until a betrayal provokes an unexpected outburst.
When Barry is rescued by Maxine, he must find the strength to be honest and attempt to win Morris back, while in Antigua, Carmel starts the long road to healing.
