... they killed it, when they replaced Melina Kanakaredes with Sela Ward, just because she demanded equal pay as the main male lead, Gary Sinese. Melina had a great chemistry with Gary (and the rest of the cast) but Sela never became integrated in the show - it was like she was an odd appendix, like a sixth finger or so - and she didn't fit in with the rest of the cast.
